Thread: CL 10 Uber Pet (Is this possible?)

I just started leveling BE. I did it once to unlock jedi and had a lot of fun with it and thought it was time to dive into it full-time. Anyway, I remember I used to have a CL 10 pet that had 10k HAM.... and if I recall it was made with some sort of "bugged DNA." SOE eventually nerfed them such that I couldn't call it anymore and I had to do the pet trade-in.
Is it possible to make these anymore (in a legitimate way)?
I ask because someone is auctioning off a similar pet (see stats below). I'd love to know what the best CL10 pet is so that I have something to strive for. After a couple of hours playing with DNA, I managed to crank outa CL8 pet with 2k HAM and was pretty excited. BE is so fun!

Yes these are still possible, however its not the DNA per se thats bugged, Just the CL calculations, some combinations come out lower in level than they should be.

Ahhh, very interesting. Would one have to be master BE to achieve this? Can't wait to figure out a recipe... it's likea quest!

Yes, it still possible. Mine average 11k/9k/5k HAM, 60 kinetic and 45 blast. I have a screenie here

Its pretty basic. Cancel out resistances basically.
I was taught how to make them originally by a retired BE, but his recipe only made something like the stats you posted in the auction. Eventually I figured out how to make ones like the screenie I posted. It's definately a lot more fun when you make your recipe than use someone elses, but there are recipes here on the forums.

Nice pet!
I think I have the basic concept for making CL 10 pets from the guide (great thread by the way). I'd much rather figure out a nice recipe for myself than just using someone elses. It's pretty fun experimenting with different dna samples and I've only been playing around on Dantooine!

its not worth much, the recipe for these is easy to get ahold of... I would flame the auction but I gave up

What is the recipe for these? I can only get 6k, 4k, 2k, HAM using the following combine

I think it was a combination of things that got the CL low. One would be the absence of a lot of resists and the other is definitely the staggered HAM. Merek Harvesters are really good for the first and/or second slots to make these. Keep the other slots as low level critters with bad bad resists. Don't try King Merek Harvesters, those bork things up pretty bad.
