Thread: CL 10 Recipe change???
Last night I had very good success using piket, corellian butterfly to make CL 10 pets...along with LPB substituted for the butterfly... tonight... I can't get them lower than CL 13-14... is anyone else noticing changes... I have used same quality dna, same tool/station, same flora (not that it matters).... and what was consistently gave me CL 10 is now CL13 or 14...
hmmm....?
I delete them because of crappy stats..not because of CL
ThaGreen... just curious, are your piket samples from tonight? or an earlier sampling? can't get the CL10's I did yesterday... /argh
I am really losing it now.... I had two templates, one had hardiness of 272 and other had hardiness of over 400...(fortitudes were both below 200)... put in same skins...and both pets come out at CL 23..... just when I think I have most of this new system figured out......argh
Have you levelled BE any since your last success?
LPB DNA will work for some, and not for others... but there's the question of why. Poor BE Assembly skill (ie low skill box number achieved) will completely negate the LPBs -one- resist category. However, as your assembly/experimentation increases, expect this to change. That one resist makes a very slight difference in your template... however, it tends to heft CL numbers over 10.
I recommend either sticking with Corellian butterflies, or running some missions on Corellia for bagarasets, gurrcats, or a similar CL10 ish creature with no resists. The resist on the LPB is what's throwing you off.

As a master BE I can tell you that you will have no problem getting it lvl 10 or below using that DNA combo.
Do any of you high level BEs out there now what attribute of DNA controls the ferocity of a pet. I tried to give away a pet with ferocity of 2 and he couldn't call it, maybe its just a bug but id like to know if there is a way to fix it.
The key to CL 10 pets so far I have seen is all in the stats not so much the DNA going in.
If your stats for hardness, dexterity, and intelect are around 150 or lower you should get a creature around lv 10, if they around 120 it will have close to 2K ham if around 150-160 around 3K ham.
Try to keep aggression to around 100 or less this will give you fairly low dammage, but most people wanting low lv pets are loooking for a tank.
As for DNA going in I still haven't cracked that yet. If you put in all DNA from powerful stuff you, say graul maulers (about 500 in most categories) you will have stating stats around 300. If you mix high and low lv stuffyou will get one category as higher, but not as high as if you did all high lv stuff, say one GM in prowise and all the rest dwarf nuna dna (around 20 or 30) you will start with around 100 in hardness and very low numbers in everything else. To make a lv 10 pet from this experiment all the low stats up to around 100 and only put one experiemnt in to prowise making it 120-160. Some extra exp points can be put into psychological because it dosen't seem to effect CL too much.
I'll start assembling my data and put up a longer post tonight or tomorow.
Eede
Have you changed the skin you are using. Some skins have minimum CL no matter if you put Frenzied Graul or Yard Trash.
