Just how much EXP do you get whenyou use a wearables factory to make Tailor items?

It appears to be 100% if you're online and close enough. The debate seems to be about "close enough."

I tested it and you seem to get full exp for about 2000 meters. After that, it's about 1/10.

By "Close enough" I assume that you mean how close you are to the factory while it is ginding, correct? I will try and run some test and report back. I never bothered to look before becuse someone had told me that you only got 10% of the items full exp. I will take notice now for sure.

How much exp do you get for crafting a Factory?

A lot.

Just off the top of my head, each wall unit is about 6300 including the structure modules, so that's 19000 or so.

Add in a few thousand for all the other little bits and the final product, and 2 of them will probably get you a level 1 box

do you really get all that much XP? Seems like "By hand" is the way to go

You get a lot even if you fail the final assembly, which I did on my very first Factory.

I think you're confusing the question. The question is how much XP do you get for building a factory, not for operating one.

And yes, most of the XP from building anything large actually comes from building all the bits. The final assembly of a wall module is less thana quarter of the total XP earned, assuming you made all the blocks by hand.

Factory Exp get nerfed? Last night i was getting 30-40 a shot, now im getting 2-8?

Yes, I think it was (quietly) reduced to 10% XP again. Bad news for speed levellers, and people who don't like 5 second lag on every crafting window during busy hours when they're trying to level. :/

thats ridiculous, factory is next to useless now. I dont care if its halved, but jesus getting like 5% of base is stupid and completely makes using a factory to make stuff in mass RESOURCE INEFFICIENT, and costly.

Can someone else confirm this? This would be really upsetting if this actually happend... I haven't read it in any update notes. Are you sure that you just weren't out of range of your factories and watching UXP raise your skill and attributing it to your factory?
