we've all done it... we've made nonCH pets.

there are good, legitimate reasons to make nonCH pets... one of them? to provide a mount for a player who can't spend skill points in the CH profession.

I've got a CL10 kaadu that I've been growing since the p17 downtime... stats are:

health: 2355
regen: 323
armor: 0
to hit/defense: 38/38 (these stats are shifting on tame from their original crafted values)
state resist: 7.9000006%
crit hit: 0.112%
crit save: 0.42400002%
aggro bonus: 0.275%
damage: 17-28

screenshot: the 'big' one is CL8 (old... 810 health). the 'little' one is CL10 (new).

note that the big one has a saddle, and the little one doesn't. no option to 'train pet as a mount' shows for the new CL10...

which might remove the 'nonCH mount' from the new world of cloning.

this might just be for "ostrich type" skins, i know they have had funky problems with growth rates before, like the giant carrion spat that gets stunted by saddling. Does the same happen to fullgrown CL10 banthas or falumpasets?

Isn't that just peachy. If TC were up, I could tell you now. Then again so could you. If the pets are still insta growing.

No I have the same problem with my creatures.

Anything low level is miniture. Makes for Cute pets....sold a few Kitty Cats because of this reason....BUT whats UP...made a level 8 dewback that looks like a dog and can not be mounted.

Is this a bug?

Dont get me wrong I LOVE the little pets....but...mounts are cool too.

I was able to mount a (if memory serves) CL22 kaadu I cloned on TC-Bria... so I think the problem is the size of the CL10's.

I must say i have a little kitty CL10 with like 3400 health(i think...will update later if I amwrong)and 198 damage...and its sooooo tiny...i love it...BUT the dewback mount I made that I wanted as a mount is quite annoying....made a tiny cu pa too...was looking forward to riding the midget to cause it was just cool looking....

so sad :C

Hmm, pets sizing by CL? This may actually be a bug fix (or at least an intended bug fix). This was intended behavior from the very beginning. Last year at fanfest Keldarin was asked about it and acknowledged that this was a bug that he intended to fix. Perhaps he went and did it.

So now Non-CHs can not have mounts?

That doesnt seem fair.

if TC is up, and pets are insta-growing... then it's not TC. I'm making a run of CL9/10 mounts... bantha, cu pa, falump... right now.
