I know it was brokenand not working at all on several servers before the publish. If fishing still does not work on your server, please post here.

No i have tried fishing it does not work on eclispe

Fishing is workin on kauri. Just caught a blowfish that fileted for 8. decent improvement.

It works on flurry, I got filets of 7, 11 and 12. Seemed like i lost my bait more often that it use to when it turned soggy or to mush

Fishing on flurry was broken before patch, and it works now. So maybe the fixed the problem.

It works on Tarquinas as well. As for losing your bait and such, Check out the fishing faq in the scout forum. It has made it much faster and more efficient for me.

Sounds good so far. I'm on Kauri and I know that was one of the servers with no fishing before the patch. Maybe I should have asked is fishing not working on your server.

Fishing works on Tempest, and it seems a lot better, either that or my fishing skills have improved i'm pretty much pulling a fish every line i toss, yippie!! =o)

I noticed that Talthazar asked us to post here if fishing still doesNOT work on your server, but I'll join in with everyone else and happily report that fishing is working just fine on my server as well. (Radiant)


Considering I'm trying to master Scout, I was very pleased to find that I was getting between 50 and 180 survival XP per fish that I caught. When I had tried fishing before, I was maxed out on survival XP, as I didn't even have the first box yet. This is MUCH faster and more productive than sitting around in a camp. LOL
