Hi all. I've been working on my medic skills and only need diagnostic 4 till I'll be a master medic but theres a problem with my stim c's. Sometimes they appear in my schematics, sometimes they don't, some times I can use the ones I made, and other times I can't. Has this hapened to anyone else and if so, is there a way to fix it?

You need to use a chem and food crafting tool, you may need to use this at a chem and food crafting station.

I can probably guess that when you don't see the C schematic you're not close enough to a food and chem crafting station. it is required for Cs (and a personal crafting station is required for Ds, if I'm not mistaken).

As for the usage, I can only wonder if you experimented on the ease of use on somebut not others (I doubt that the resource quality alone can bring the usage down that much without experimentation), or perhaps you have clothing that gives you a med usage boost and you don't always wear it?

Docs, please correct me if I'm off base.

I don't remember if you just need a food/chem crafting tool or you need to be near a food/chem public crafting station. As for the ability to use them, watch what you experiment on because I believe Ease of Use is bugged, when you try to experiment it down it goes up. (that may be fixed now).

Also, when you are making them on the page with experimentation you will see the requred med use skill, use that as a guide to weather or not you can use the finished stim. If you have Pharma IV you should be able to use C stims with no problem.

The thing is I have personal food/chem crafting stations, 3 to be exact. So far it's only stim c's that I have been having trouble with. Could be a bug maybe. Another thing I've noticed about crafting is the screen asking you to make a proto type, experiment, or schematic. Sometimes it appears and other times it doesn't show up. Very annoying when your grinding for hours and it starts showing up slowing you down

Stim-C's require the food/chem crafting tool and a public food/chem crafting station. So in addition to having the toolkit in your inventory, you either need to be standing next to a public food/chem crafting station, standing near a droid with a food/chem crafting module (doesn't have to be yours, can beanyone's), or standing next to a personal food/chem crafting station ina home.

If you aren't getting the experimentation option, it means you aren't near a crafting station. I have had problems where I was crafting Stim-C's and suddenly they weren't available anymore. This happened for two reasons:

1) When I was sitting beside the public crafting station, I warped a few meters and it took me out of range of the tool. (This happened a LOT.)

2) My private crafting station is in my R5 droid. And occassionally I've had trouble with him wandering off. If I sat down to work on meds for a while and noticed my experimentation box wasn't coming up anymore, or Stim-C dropped off my available items list, I'd look for Sparky and find that he's either warped out of range or had rolled a few more meters away fromme and wasn't close enough to get the benefits from anymore...

Hopefully this helps...

It never did this before. But yesterday while crafting my micronutrients after every craft (during practice mode or not) it would put 1-3 empty edible containers into my inventory. Any suggestions why it started doing this?

dev does not believe in perfection, only activity.

Must not be too biga problem.. I spoke to a gal yesterday that used macros to get Master BE in 2.5 days. Macros have ruined this game and will continue to till dev admits they blew it. Like thats going to happen.

Get Master while you sleep. Then when you wake up, and have Mastered the profession, you come to the boards and ask, now... "how do I make a pet"? "I'm a Master" "Where do I get DNA?"

I am sure we have all experienced.. it is just when you make certain things.. like active Tranq's.

Bugs are so common that I dont even bother sending reports on 90 percent of them.

But I would much rather put up with empty containers than tohave lost the complete concept of what a BE is like dev has.

someone else posted about this recently and attributed it to using resources from their station's hopper. im not sure if that helps.

ive never had enough milk to make active tranqs, so i couldnt help with that. heh

Hi,

In one of my characters, I have Engineering 3, and would like to produce things in a factory. But for some reason I can't get the options to save a schematic for manufacturing, because when I craft, steps 5 & 6 are skipped in the process. How do I get those steps back? Or is this just a bug? Thanks.
