Ok I know you make great pets (reminds me of a song) and i know you can take like a rancor and give him great ham and attack but are you guys able to say give the angler spider armor one? give him resist? are you guys able to mess with those stats on creatures?

possibly in a month or two when the new cloning system is implemented. Until then, no, we cannot tweak any of a creature abilities/specials. Just HAM by a small amout.

can != should

The combat system will be 'balanced' when NPC's and PC's have the same HAM.

Trust me, we cannot wait for the changes to cloning. Not only will we be able to alter CL, HAM, Damage, and the Special Moves, but we may be getting some new clones as well.

And yes, I also hope CH's and BE's can learn to get along as well. In fact, I have never had one problem witha CH in game. I think much it lies outside the game and on the boards.

I don't think there is a rift between creature handlers and bio engineers in the true sense of the word. My best in-game friend is a creature handler and we get along great. I will say however I do have to compete directly with him in the creature market. I have to use an insane amount of resources and it takes a lot of time for me to make one animal that may actually turn out worse than its wild counterpart. He has to shuttle to some remote planets but in that one trip he can come back with a pack load of animals. We won't go into the die and clone aspect since both of us have that problem. The better my DNA sample skill the more I piss off the critter (explain that one)and the higher level animal he tries to tame the more apt the parents are going to mob him.He definitely has more creature customers than I do. No one wants to wait for me to make them.

Of course I can be a vet and crank out pet stims and vita packs and not even bother with the creatures at all but then why give us clone if that's going to be the case? They could very easily have made "vet" a branch in the doctor tree and eliminated BE all together.

The rift between creature handlers and bio engineers is in the market its not between individuals. I actually enjoy playing the game. The enjoyment doesn't come from BE however.

I have an R2 unit with a storage module. I spoke to a guildy and he said that items stored will remain with the droid when I return it to the datapad. What I'm wondering is if these data stored items are immune to decay?

You can have up to five droids in your datapad, and if you wish ALL of 'em can have ten item storage slots each. Visit your friendly (and downtrodden) local droid engineer today!

Im a mayor of a city on Chilastra called Trinsic and we got 1 problem, We are located on Lok meaning trading and the selling of goods is alot harder to do because of the length it takes to get to lok and the routes u need to take to get to it... Because of this and no one wanting to travel the distance we dont sell much in the city and we are losing money pretty quick about 300k-400k per week.... we've had a multiple amount of play donate.... but do u guys have any idea's to centralize trading in a city instead of the crafters not wanting to sell in the city but would rather sell on Lok any idea's would be helpful thx

I am not a politician (yet) but live in a city that is high in merchant activity....the key is to get the word out. Advertising is key --- since you are on Lok, you may want to focus that advertising on Tatooine -- since they are one hop away. Use the auction channel on Tat (yes people do read it - at least on Bria), use spambots (sorry merchant droids) in the starports, put items on the bazaar with the location of your city/its creator in the title, and encourage word of mouth. The best business and traffic you can drive to your city is by getting people to forward the info when they see someone looking for stuff. I have gone as far as shoot someone a mail with the wp to our mall when I see them shouting in spatial looking for a particular item.

Just a few ideas -- this helps bring customers and new guild/city members to our city -- making us very successfull

Lok is also available via Theed, the most-travelled starport next to Cnet.

So, I'd concentrate on Naboo too, since I and many others hop through Theed because of the no-shuttle-wait.

Since you have both Tat and Naboo to work with, you might find ways to entice people from both of those worlds to yours.

My city is on Lok as well. At the moment, we've only got 3 merchants in town, an architect, a tailor, and a weaponsmith. I know for a fact that they are not making much money from their Lok vendors, YET. Luckily they've been good enough to stick it out, while we build up our city, and get it's name out there. At least one of them also has a vendor set up near Coronet to supplement his income, as architect can be quite expensive.

Last night we hit level 2, so I will be placing a parking garage tonight in town. This should bring a lot of traffic to our town, as we are the closest city to Nym's Stronghold (3.5km away), and Nym's Stronghold does not have a parking garage. So we will be the closest garage to everyone coming into Lok, or leaving Lok. We are also placing a bank and cantina tonight as well as several more trainers. We hope to start placing some Merchant tents real soon.

We also intend on starting to hold player events based in our city real soon (we wanted to hit level 2 before starting events, which we have now done). So now myself, and our city council need to sit down, and come up with a great player event to really get people to remember our town, and hopefully remember our crafters, and continue to come back to them for their needs.
