Before you leave, bug the Devs about the BE CL pet size issue. Going to need to be making pets again soonish and don't want overly large pets.![]()
way ahead of you... though the issue right now is nonCH mounts, which just don't get big enough. in a perfect world, both 'too big' and 'too small' could be fixed in one fell swoop.

I hope it was phrased in a way that would direct attention to the greater problem, rather than just a smaller problem. For me non-CH mounts just aren't a problem. No one uses mounts to begin with, specially non-CHers, and mounts need to come from CHes that train the mounts. They can get BEed or wild caught mounts if they can find anyone that wants one. I haven't recieved a non-CH mount requests in many months. The nonCH mount problem simply isn't big enough of an issue, the over all size problem is though.
it's a 'big issue' because it visibly breaks a game system for a number of players... whether or not nonCH mounts themselves are important. 'my pets are too big' is a qualitative response... many players would counter with 'I love my big pets'... but 'nonCH mounts are limited to falumpasets and CL10 dewbacks' is a quantitative problem.
the underlying problem: that mount skins vary in their CL scaling (compare a CL70 kimogila to a CL70 razor cat, for instance). it's hard to convince the devs that 'big pets' are a pressing problem, since I've heard as much POSITIVE feedback from players as NEGATIVE... and in front of starports, ALL I hear is positive feedback. however, I have noted that CL sizing is less than ideal on both the big AND the small end.
I like being able to make pets bigger than they are in the wild. I'm not talking about Fambaa or Kimogilla, but I like my CL70 Falumpset that can walk allong the bottom of lakes. What I would like to see is a slight boost in height for CL10 pets, and only shorten the higher level pets that actually need it, like Kimogilla and Dewback. Since my BE/CH is my main... And only...Character, I notice ALLOT of players wanting big pets. It's not something showoffie, but allot of CH and Non-CH really want a big cuddly squall like my lil CL63 Halio.![]()

So you can have a big CL70 Kimo or a small CL70 kimo but that small CL70 Kimo will still be bigger than a CL20 Kimo. If that makes sense. So a small CL70 gurreck would be a normal sized animal while a large one would be house sized (why some would would want one that big, no idea, but the option would be nice). A big CL10 gurreck should still be small while a small CL10 would be a kitten sized cat. Like wise a large CL10 dewback would just be big enough to be mountable while a small CL10 would be a small pet lizard.Just addressing the small CL10 mount size doesn't get us there.
keep in mind that colors don't stick to all clone species... and that's been a problem for ages. ideally, yes, a clone should have size customization within a range determined by CL... but let's not stray too far from realistic expectations.
Have a good time on your travels and don't forget to hug your mum

Non CH mounts are a big issue with me... I've had an order to fill of 50 (now might want more) Non CH mounts for a RP guild... Recipes seem to shift way to much and trying to get this order done has been a pain... So, both problems deserve equal attention..

I'm sorry but i so dissagree with you there, i think theyre both equaly important issues, i was asked for 20 non-ch dewbacks for a roleply guild the other day and i had to say no because of this issue, thats a lot of money for me to lose for a bug.

I'm with Kaomond on this one. I still get a lot of people asking for non-CH mounts and pets. Some just want it for a cute pet others do use them. This bug has made me very frustrated along with my customersas all they can get to ride are 2 of the mount types. As for other sizing issues I actualy like my giant kitty's and vermmok. The sight of a giant cl 69 jax pouncing on stormtropers is a wonderfull thing, not to mention other people seem to get a good laught over it as well.
