Thread: Pricing our new creatures? Can I hear some ideas from you all?
Hey guys/gals. I am looking for a good way to price these new creatures with Special Attacks and resistances. I have no idea how to do this...but really would like to get a nice fair even system put together for my vendor and special requests from potential customers. Thanks

I cant speak for every one, But to me, CH gouged the community for a LOT of money. Pay backs are a bitch.
Anything high end is going to cost, big time cost.
Personally my creations are for my own use / friends use....
Not in BE to make money, personally.
You know I really never sold a lot of pets before now......never was worth it. Now we finally acn make some cool stuff and I really want to get a fair pricing system together. I never knew any CH's that gouged me on anything.
I was thinking.....
Avg HAM * Special Attack 1 Factor * Special Attack 2 Factor * Some kind of factor for resistances
Seems like by the time I get done with it I will have some weird calculus equation with integrals, derivatives and matrices.....and god help me I dont want that LOL.
What if it was something like 10k per every 10 CL - CL 40 would be 40k. (Given that it has fairly average HAM)
+2k per every 10% of resists. 60% on kinetic would 12k. Adding each additional resist level. 3 resists at 60% would be 36k.
+5k per AR
+5k per Special (unless its weak, but maybe more if really strong)

1k per CL, CH's have been charging no less than this in the past few months. They will all want level 35's with armor soon so we'll lose in the end.
Light armor:
40% kinetic +5k,
60% kinetic +10k ... if they care about other resistssame guidelines, won't charge for it unless they ask for it specificaly becuase otherwise it might not be there.
Specials: clueless here
Whole FG resists: In the time it takes me to FIND enough FG's to make one template I could have ran 40k worth of missions.

Ease up, there, friend. I was a 2-2-1-1 CH when mounts came out, so I didn't see diddly except credits leaving my bank account. 8) Some CH's gouged, yes, but a lot didn't. Those BE's that gouge will be identified pretty quickly and avoided. Those that price fairly - and admittedly there isn't a consensus on pricing yet - will be awarded with repeat business.
I sold a Lvl 54 Kimo with the following stats for 290k last night:
11k HAM all bars
Light Armour
45% Kinetics
80% Elect/Heat/Cold
40% Blast
Specials: Stun Strike / Strong Poison
Damage: 440-480
Attack Speed: 2.1
Made this Kimo from Arachne Queen DNA, Kwi Guardian, and Mant Screechers
I just walking into Coronet and MCH's lined up behind me and it was a full Bidding War for fifteen minutes.

You take that kind of stand with ALL CHs on your server and you aint going to last long in bussiness dude. If any BEs burn me and they get no repeat bussiness. By the way, I never sold pets (mounts). In fact gave a few away. Heck even trained the mount command for strangers for free when they asked nice.
Rep is everything in this game. You really need to learn that.

I was goofing around lastnight andmade a CL10eopiewith a ranged attack. It has 2K health, 900 action and mind, and does 90-110 damage. This is an eopie LOL.

There are a master BE's making hyperly wimpy kimos and selling them for an insane amount of money. You decide if that's gouging or being a savy business person.
I made a Kimo last night (first creature I made after the patch) CL45 / HAM 10500-12500 /Light armor / 2 special attack i can't remember what kind other thank "Stunning" something.
This being a pretty low level Kimo for a Master CH, I only charged 50k. I feel that is fair for a level 45 pet.

Wimpy kimos selling for insane money is gouging. BEs can gouge all they want. I just wont buy from the ones that do. I will buy unusual (meaning wierd or can nottame has an MCH) from BEs that don't gouge. And there will be BEs that will not gouge just like there were CHs that did not gouge for mounts. Those are the ones that will get repeat bussiness. If I find the price to much for the type of ability I am looking for then I will pass it up.
I will also grant that the BEs that do gouge in the begining will make a lot of money from moronic CHs and MCHs who have the patients of a 2 year old. You know, the CHs and MCHs who can not wait to get the "Next Best Thing". If that is how you want to play the game, fine, it's your game. I am just not giving you any of my money.
