I just bought a brackaset from a vedor, it has about 7700 ham, 400 substats, 1.99 speed, and .22 to hit.

I thought this thing was fully grown, and i would be able to see its resits when i buy it, but it was a baby and for some reasons, it didnt show the resistance stats. Is there something wrong? or do BE creatures always start as babies and have no resist stats?

I am not sure about the resist stats but yes, they do indeed start as babies. Has anyone left one of these in their inventory or in their house long enough to find out if they will mature without being tamed?

It is my understanding that until it is tamed, it isn't even technically treated as a creature. Until it is tamed it is just an object, so it doesn't grow.

If it did grow you would be in trouble, as only babies can be tamed. What would you do with a full grown untamable creature?

"What would you do with a full grown, untamable creature?"

As I understand it, over half of the creatures we can make are untamable, so what's a couple of extra?

Brackesets have lvl 0 armour and modest resists I think. In all seriousness. . .you're better off getting a kusak. Ok, so I'm biased.

I am sure there are wild creatures the same level as the Kusak that are technically better, but I am definitley looking forward to getting my taming high enough to use one (or two) Kusaks that I made myself :>

Well, they have lvl 1 armour, good resists, and decent damage. I like mine.

BE creatures arent babies, they are deeds. So yes, CH can tame other than babies.

a creature has to be called out ofthe data pad and examined to see the resists...most of the time armor shows up....on some creaturesi dont see it..ever

all creatures that can be owned/controled start as babies once tamed, only way you can recieve a full grown pet is the transfer skill in Ch tree group managment 4, or by a stealth transfer through the trade window (currently an exploit as this works with anyone...even non CH and is used to scam ppl sometimes)

How do you figure when they grow up? No other critter exibits this except wild babies...

Ok, so they are deeds and not babies. That sounds about right, because when you tame them you don't get any experince for the tame like you do off of real babies. Once you tame them, they then become babies that you can train, and have to grow for 5 to 10 days, just like wild babies.

it doesnt say baby on the screen though they behave just like babies. They will grow after they have been tamed.

They follow all the rules for babies. Start at 10% ham, etc.

Brackasets have no armor, no special protection, and no effectivenesses, which means no vulnerabilities either.
