Thread: To the brightest stars in the SWG galaxy
Goodbye Dorelli. It was truly a pleasure working and sharing with you on the forums.
I have no regrets, I had great fun.
I wish you luck in whatever you end up doing. ![]()
as eloquent as I try to be, sometimes you make me look like a cheap hack.
I'm in until January myself... and I'll likely be running my MSN now that my server is heading to the closet. give me a holler, won't you?
EDIT: it's good to be king. STICKY!

Early on in Lammergeier's correspondant career, I noticed that Kaomond and Ioften got to the forums before Lammie could answer - and we answered a lot of the basic and repetitive questions that the influx of new BE's had.
I was concerned about this, so I talked to Lammie about it ingame and basically what he said was ... no toes are being stepped on ... keep it up and it gives me time to do all the other things I have to do as correspondant. So we did ...
Everything I have ever said therefore was not meant to undermine our correspondant but to free up his time so he didn't have to deal with the 'why can't i craft this pet next to a public crafting station' type question.
I think Lammie is a great correspondant and it isn't HIS fault they never tell him anything
Thanks for being yourself Lammie and I really enjoyed your interview on the Galaxy Report. And you are one friend I'm not planning to let go of easily ...

Im not going to list names, because there *was* quite a large hardcore BE bunch about, and most of you know who you are...or were.
The changes to BE are the exact opposite of what I hoped for...the devs seem to have taken a small percentage of players in crafting to mean that it wasn't popular...the problem is, that not everyone can fit into a generic class.
On the positive side, we have been wondering where all the devs have dissapeared to...well now we know. The devs haven't been wasting time bug fixing and breaking...most of the team has been working on this new system, and the rest of it on ToOW. This means that the dev suport is likely to get better as all the devs become focused on one part of the game.
On the down side, I dont feel that I can guarantee that ANY of my items, resources, tools and loot from Chef/BE/Artisan and my combat chars will be worthwhile, and I will be selling up everything ASAP. (except sentimentals)
I reckon the most stable form of item to store would be credits.
Let the liquidating begin. (as soon as I get my darn BB installed)

it's not like I have anything ELSE to put in those two houses.
and hell, who knows when some Ancient Bull Rancor DNA will come in handy?

We had a great little group of people here. Even aside from being an obscure, neglected, and now-deemed-worthless profession, this forum has always been lighthearted and amicable.
Hats off to all the BE's that made it that way. I know what it's like to really be into the craft, and it's nice to know a lot of you were there as well.
Your postings on this forum will forever represent the spirit that can be given to a computer game mechanic.
I'm not excluding anyone else's contributions and thoughts from that notion. I believe most dedicated BE's infused the idea of a field scientist with much more than (whatever was) intended.
