thanks thats is along the lines i was thinking. my thoughts were 500 credits per +1. the only problem is the medic/dancing stuff have higher +'s on average but i think the combat stuff is more popular.i have a pricing formula that seems to work great for regular clothing but doesnt work with enhancements.

Some tailors only add a few thousand extra on top of what they paid. A lot of other tailors charge 500-2k per point enhanced plus price of clothing. When I was tailor, I simply charged 1k per point enhanced. So a +25injury/wound healing pair of pants would be 25k, a +14entertainer healing skirt would be 14k... etc. :c) Hope that helps.

Usually if I got an order for enhanced clothing, people usually wanted the full +25 (cap). So whether it's a combat enhance or not, it was the same for me. However, if you think your combat items are more popular, you could charge 1k per +1 for those and 500 per +1 for your non-combat enhances if you're more satisfied with that. :c)

I charge 500/credits per stat used on top of the price of the clothing. Splintt and I split the profits 50/50, which helps keep costs down.

I actually had someone come into my shop the other day, look through my enhanced vendor, and thentold me that I had the most reasonably priced enhanced clothing in the galaxy. (I actually think that it's because we have items that have lower stats as well as the items with max stats.)

I've mastered BE due to a holo but it's turning out kinda fun ... granted I have no idea what to charge. Any suggestions on pets like these? Not the best I've made, but I can get similar results pretty consistently.

There is already a thread on pet pricing, do a search on this forum with 'Pet pricing system' in the thread title search field.

Both those pets are nice PvP animals. Market them to the combat class in your galaxy.

There are threads on pricing as was stated. I find however, pricing is based more on the economy in your galaxy. What one person charges may be very high or possibly very low in the galaxy you live.

I'd charge good money for them knowing combat class spends good money on their weapons. These "weapons" you're selling should be priced accordingly.

Well i learned that you can always make more money on the bazaar. I personally sell furniiture in my vendor for 500 credits each and 1000 credits each on the bazaar. Some1 once told me "if your master architect sell your furniture for 10cpu. and if your not sell it for 5cpu.

The FAQ has a good answer on how to go about setting your own prices. If you haven't read it then I'd recommend you do. It is good advice.

ONe main thing to consider is that prices are specific to your server. So it depends on what the market is there.

Your prices look to be roughly 2-3 cpu. I think thats low on most servers. What does ore cost on your server? I'd recommend that you set your prices so they are at least more than the cost of the raw materials on the open market.

Also you've got 25k for BER10 harvesters. If that includes the chemical, gas and flora then thats only about 2 cpu for a high quality product. I'd really consider raising the price on the ones that take walls cause they use a lot more materials.

Standard disclaimer: The economy varies a lot from server to server.

prices are generally based on 4cpu, i just dont like how people are chargeing 1million for city halls and 150k for BER 13's when they are not really worth that much

A common misconception.
Why do you say a BER 13 is not worth 150k ? Because of the cost of the resources used? Take a look at WS and AS for example, most of their items sell for much more than that on a cpu basis, even if you believe that the cost of resources is higher for them, the mark up is still significantly higher than architects have traditionally used on Harvesters.

Look at it another way, what is the VALUE of a BER 13 harvester to the buyer ? Ballpark figure is just under 20k per day, so in 1 week they have recovered the cost of the item. Anything else do that and still allow you to get on with other aspects of the game? You just set it once a week, visit it now and again to collect your 'earnings', sell the resources and get on with killing Gnorts, or whatever it is you do for fun. And the darned things last forever if you tend to them, even a RL houseplant needs more care than that, and they die eventually.

Now look at it purely in terms of time, if a BER 13 on a 60% concentration gathers 11,232 units, how many men would it take to gather those same resources in the same time on the same concentration spot ? Or, how many days would it take one man to gather the same quantity of resources on the same spot? Or, How many units could one man gather on the same spot before the resource shifted? This is not an exam question, so no real answers are required (unless of course somebody wants to work it out, lol), the point is that without Harvesters there would be NO resource gatherers, without resource gatherers there would be no resources, without resources there would be no Houses, Factories, Weapons, Armour, Food etc. etc. etc.

So I ask again, why do you say a BER 13 is not worth 150k ?, although you are quite correct, they are not worth 150k, they are worth much more than that.
