CU Medicine FAQ for Bio-engineers and Doctors


Version 1.0


Introduction:


This guide is to help answer BASIC questions regarding the new meds and enhancers (i.e. what they are for and who can use them). I will also be adding components to this as well. Guide will be updated as the need arises.


I. Bacta Infusion Enhancer [Healing Ability] Doctor


A. Required Resources and components are as follows:


· 75 Units of Talusian Scaly Hide


· 200 Units Reactive Gas


· 9 Identical Advanced Solid Delivery Shells


· 9 Identical Advanced Resilience Compound


· 9 Identical Advanced Infection Amplifier


B. How to use item:


· Select target.


· Double click item in inventory or click on item in toolbar.


C. Item can only be used if you have /bactaInfusion skill.


D. This item is used to enhance the effect of /bactaInfusion skill.


II. Bacta Jab Enhancer [Healing Ability] Doctor


A. Required Resources and components are as follows:


· 200 Units Avian Meat


· 300 Units Reactive Gas


· 8 Identical Advanced Dispersal Mechanism


· 8 Identical Advanced Resilience Compound


· 8 Identical Advanced Infection Amplifier


B. How to use item:


· Select target.


· Double click item in inventory or click on item in toolbar.


C. Item can only be used if you have /bactaJab skill.


D. This item is used to enhance the effect of /bactaJab skill.


III. Bacta Spray Enhancer [Healing Ability] Medic/Combat Medic


A. Required Resources and components are as follows:


· 150 Units Plumbum Iron


· 200 Units of Flowers


· 225 Units of Inert Gas


· 7 Identical Advanced Dispersal Mechanism


· 7 Identical Advanced Resilience Compound


· 7 Identical Advanced Infection Amplifier


B. How to use item:


· Select target.

IV. Bacta Toss Enhancer [Healing Ability] Medic/Combat Medic

· 200 Units Avian Meat


· 225 Units of Fiberplast


· 7 Identical Advanced Dispersal Mechanism


· 7 Identical Advanced Resilience Compound


· 7 Identical Advanced Infection Amplifier

· 9 Identical Advanced Chemical Release Duration Mechanism


· 9 Identical Advanced Resilience Compound

· 300 Units Reactive Gas


· 8 Identical Advanced Dispersal Mechanism


· 8 Identical Advanced Resilience Compound


· 8 Identical Advanced Infection Amplifier

recently had someone ask me how to get rid of wounds, who makes the woundpacks now, which ones are they etc. and I was stumped lol, is there no longer such a thing as wound packs? if so which "spell" is used for this and what's the mana cost? lol sorry, just can't believe the way things are now.. any help would be appreciated

novice doctors can heal wounds with a 'spell'. Alternatively, you can sit in a med center or a campand they will heal slowy.

if the voting system was in I would give this 5*. This is some good information to help us all out. Luckly sub components from what I have seen haven't changed in resource requirements so those should hopefully be safe for us.

The technical term for this is "systems balancing", prior to release. After release, it's still balancing, but changes can be considered nerfs or enhancements.
Since you don't have it yet, if you cry nerf, I'll make sure your name is on the list to spew chicken feathers as your characters talk.

Psychopyro80, excellent post. Five stars if we could still hand them out. Very nice to have this all in one place, particularly with the little "translations" in the brackets, to tell us what these new things do in a context we can quickly grasp.

perhaps on the next update, maybe could add the skill/level requirements to use these items? I might be looking in the wrong places, but I haven't been able to find yet what combat level is needed for Stim Cs (1 for As, 15 for Bs, 60 for Ds -- right?)

What I'm not understanding is that it seems that most of the Enhancers anyway don't really add much...so why would anyone buy them or pay for resources to craft them? My converted items don't seem to add anything other than exactly what my Skill does. Thats a lot of resources for an item that is potentially worth very little.
Does anyone have any other ideas on this? Is this broken and going to be fixed?
