Hi i have a Master Pistoleer/Master CH.

I have a pretty good time with most kinds of PvE which is what i am into right now. However i went Krayt hunting with 2 of my friends a Master Carbineer/Master CH and a master pistoleer / master CM....CM was chain healing. Now to be honest things went pretty well are we managed to kill 10-15 krayts canyon and juvenilles. The only deaths were when some idoits ran up and started hitting the nest.

I can see this being different if we went against an ancient with that team.

Problem: Was very slow as my stupid DX2 has only light armour piercing.

Questions

Would it be worth me spending my remaining points on getting novice rifleman and 1 tree, so i could use a T21 (with its heavy AP)?

Would it just be a waste of time as i am already a master pistoleer?

If could only get 1 tree, which would be best tree for PvE, Considering i have pets to tank?

Thanks for your time

Based on your comments, I'd say you might find it worthwhile to go that route. Normally people suggest taking the Counter-Sniping tree first for aspiring Masters, since Counter-Sniping 4 gives you a sweet AOE attack. However, in your specific case, I'd recommend taking the first box in Sniping, so you can get Mindshot 2. The tactics I'd suggest at that point would be to drop Mindshot 2 and Mindshot 1 on the critter you're fighting (they stack, and bleeds ignore armor), then just use autofire while your pet tanks.

Hello. I'm currently working on Unarmed IV in order to get Novice Commando (I have the 40k combat xp). But I'm having some serious trouble getting xp. At this rate, it will take be a long, long time. Anyone have some advice for me? Good xp spots? Tips for unarmed combat?

i had to pick up nov medic, bought some good stim b's, found other people who needed unarmed xp and went to tatooine, i found that scyks and mountain worts gave the best xp, mountain worts can be soloed if you have medic and they give 3k xp, buffs and spice helped too. another tactic is to start off with your pistol and stack bleed 1 and bleed 2, then do unarmed.

GOOD LUCK!

vibro knucklers, best sliced for speed if you can swing. Yes you aren't certified to use, but the damage reduction is about 10 points and you hit twice as fast.

Beserk, use it, great early melee combat skill.

Have friends playing? Go to places like Datooine and take missions there in a group, beat uplairs especially, solo if your friends allow.

Oh cool, I thought that the knucklers would be next to useless if I wasn't qualified. I'll go pick some up. Thank you guys!

I am about to hit my 10k cap and am going to be training Invest 1 and 2 tonight. Where is a good place to run Investigation 3 missions out of (i.e. Terminal and Informant close together)? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Kaadara, Naboo. Get used to it - it will be your home for a long time.

I just wanted to say thanks again for your help. I got some knucklers and used bleeding shots and viola! I finished Unarmed IV in two days. And now I've joined the hallowed ranks of Commandos! I'm loving my launcher pistol and flamethrower (even if I can't hit the broad side of a bantha)!
