From a Master Carbineer.... go for Markmanship columns first. Even though leg shot 3 sucks... crippling shot is my favorite high dmg shot and is a must I believe. Of course Special abilities column is the most important (charge shot 1) but it goes off combat xp... so theres no way of not doing that one first .

I am currently a novice carbineer. The only skill box i have in that profession is novice carbineer. I have enough carbineer experience to get my first box. Which one should i get, and why.

I am usually of a differing opinion than most, but I say marksmanship. Now, that would be if you plan to go master. Leg3 for all intents and purposes is no improvement. My opinion, is that with higher ham costs, and the posture change moves, especially AS2, I want to miss a few times as possible. I am not that much further along. I just got cripple shot and I love it.

My current plan, is to go up the semi-defensive line, then do speed last. My guns seem to be fast enough, and I would rather be able to have more confidence that when I do use my specials, I will hit.

I think I am in the minority here though, a lot of people like the speed mods. Then again, I can't find Link steel for a Laser Carbine, which is our slower gun.

Take it as you want, I don't claim to be right =)

thank you everyone for your responces. I will go up the marksman tree first for the accuracy. And to the master carbineer, where the heck do you hunt at to get that far. I've been at novice for a week.

If you are not into music, then there is no significant advantage to being a musician over a master doctor. A master doctor gets way more perks.

A master musician is solely for those who love the music and the interaction between players. We do have some mind buff that is kind of quirky, meaning someone has tolisten toyou for some specific amount of time with no breaks inbetween for it to take affect. I think mind buffs from a chef are much better and more practical really.

There is the +7 ranged and melee defense bonuses that one gets at master musician. But as the poster above said, I don't think it outweighs what you get at master doc.

Well, I'd say do whichever sounds more fun to you. A Master Doctor is really pretty neat; you get to do a lot of different stuff, ranging from crafting to healing to revivals to buffs to combat. We Musicians do have the ability to buff Focus/Willpower briefly (thus "mind enhancement"), but not for more than 20 or 30 minutes. We do get a nice +7 bump to melee and ranged defense, but that's not the be-all and end-all either.

The real reason to bea Musician is just that it's fun to play music, to jam with others, to interact with customers, to wear interesting clothes, to play gigs, to earn tips, and (yes)to heal mind wounds and battle fatigue. I think that stuff's all fun, so I love being a Musician.

As a master musician, you can make well over 20k a night while you sleep. Can a doctor do that? Seems like a pretty easy choice to me.
