Just burned down a Krayt dragon.

Got a perl.

Did you burn it down solo?

Rumors going around (and again I stress RUMORS) say that pearls will be used in double ended lightsabers...but who knows at this point...

And I would also be interested in knowing if you did it solo (not in a group, and not with a pet)? Just curious...if not, what was the group?

I'm going Krayt hunting this weekend so I'm curious...

Other day i soloed 2 dragons at once, i used grual and rocket luancher. Both of the dragons where close enough to be caught in the AE of the rockets. Now granted this very rare that the dragons both stood, becuase 90% of the time the run all over the fricking planet. But i did and i was so dam giddy lol i dam near pissed my pants. And another way to solo a dragon is rocket/feign death. I would not try to dot then fd becuase the dragon would stomp you lil head if you tried to get that close. O yea lil tip for when your fighting these, use flame special then run, dragons have a AE stomp that will one hit you, im guessing the radius is about 10/20m thats normally when i get incap if im trying to put the burn on. And yes people gonna say but you had to use a pet blah blah blah, well there aint anyway else to fight these. Cause you dam sure cant try to solo them.

I love hunting Krayts, especially solo.. of course the problem is usually that I'll half kill one and then some frickin guild will show up with 2 groups of 20 + pets and steal the kill.... lol good work getting the pearl.

Who the hell needs 10 or 20+ people....us two is quite enough, even for giant ones.

i couldnt do it guess im not uber enough wouldnt know how to do it kill a krayt that has heavy armor with my little vibros with light armor piercing in my dreams but to those who say they can it will end. krayt are being given300k ham from what i hear so guess ill never even learn how it was done.

It would take a long ass time to kill a krayt with a tka. They have no bleeds so every hit they do is cut by halved, then halved again for heavy armor then reduced by 60% for the resists. that means they would be doing like 200 damage a hit using specials and knucklers. I would think your mind would run out before the krayt went down.

Thats the onew drawback of TKA...we cant do crap against medium and heavy armored mobs with high resistances. When we do 14 dmg per hit to a armored mob..it kinda is impossible to compare your damage to a rifleman who does ticks of 1k dmg with a simple bleed.

This is why you don't use pure tka. I've found Pistoleer/TKA is a good combo...(although you MUST, MUST have some medic skills.)
