Perhaps I'm just spoiled cause I am on the smuggler boards more and we havebeen VERY active correspondent but 2 weeks is a long time to go without a post. I mean, I know if RL stuff is going on (and I do agree that RL stuff ALWAYS comes first) but if that is happening it is time to pass the torch. Flame me if you want, I just want to know that there is someone in ther fighting for us.

Talthazarhas not logged on since the 21st of April 2004 (9 days ago) and has only made 11 public posts in the entire month of April (2 of those were non-BE related).
From one of his posts he stated that RL was taking a lot of his time and I 100% understand that. However, it is unfair to the BE community for us to have an inactive correspondent.
I cannot see how Talthazarcan be up-to-date on issues that effect us when, not only was he late for the last Top 5,he doesnt seem to be able to make it on to the forums more then once every two weeks with a post count in the BE forumsthat isnt even breaking the double digits.
Talthazaris a great correspondent but I would like to cast my humble vote that TH provides us with a new correspondent who is able to be more active in our community.
This is in no way a flame to Talthazar. I understand 100% RL has to come first
However, it is not fair to the rest of us that we dont have an active correspondent communicating with us.
That is my two cents. What do yall think?

Haven't been posting much but I've been spending a lot of time absorbing everything that's going on.
There are too many issues with Bio Engineer for us not to have a more active corrospondent. Granted that there are other things going on that takes time but there are a lot of unsettled Bio Engineers out there and something needs to be done about and we need to be kept informed

I agree, its time for Talth to pass the baton to someone with a bit less of an RL than he does.
He's done a good job but RL comes first and we need someone who has more time to dedicated to our cause.

I agree with the above posts. TH should contact him and see what is going on and make a decision to switch correspondents.

I agree. Its nothing personal against Talthazar, since he has been a great correspondant, but I think we need someone more active.
My vote would go to Tal-N.

Same here. Talth has been an excellent correspondant, but if he really is away as often as he claims he'll be, we need a new corresp.
I second Tal-N for the job.

I agree we need a new correspondent, and that Tal-N would be a good one but as he has said he is playing less himself.

Tal-N will never be a correspondant - he's far too vocal. Correspondant positions go to quiet players who will keep their community happy (quiet) and wont make a fuss.

As good as Talthazar was in the past, I agree that we need a much more active Correspondent.
It will be sad to see him go (seeing as he is one of the few remaining Corrs who have been so since the beginning) but with the number of questions and issues BEs face today, we need someone who can devote a fair amount of time to communicating our concerns to the Devs.
I used to check this board daily, but since there hasn't been anyone to post anything of much importance (i.e. Dev feedback) I just haven't bothered checking in
While we are on the subject, is there anyone willing to step up and throw their hat in the ring?
EDIT: I just sent this to Thunderheart about our situation (of which he should already be aware)
Talthazar has been the BE Correspondent for a long time (since the beginning I believe) and he has done a fantastic job.
But lately, he has been absent for a majority of the important discussions going on and feedback to the Devs. We all saw his post about RL being very busy recently, and we all respect that.
However, we need someone who can devote much of their time to our wants/needs. As terrific as Talthazar has been, much of the BE community feels a change needs to take place. We deserve the same amount of concentrated and constant discussions that some of the other profs are getting.
The following thread is the most recent one asking for a change:
http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=bio-engineer&message.id=68259
http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=bio-engineer&message.id=68259
Come talk to us, our communication is severely lacking right now.
Please don’t let the lack of future changes to BE affect the possibility of at least dropping by.
Sincerely,
a distraught Master Bio-Engineer

From what I've seen, it wouldn't make much difference if you had Wolf Blitzer as correspondent. Seems like better correspondents get better lip service, then quit

While remaining sensitiveto Talthazar's RL stuff (whatever that may be), I've passed along your concernand linked this thread. The grace period for replacing an inactivecorrespondent is usually3-4 weeks, butThunderheart willkeep an eye on it. He usually gives correspondents with a good record a little more leeway than others.
Let's hope he comes back soon!
