We all know that... the empire does experimentation on some of their troopers, with all the cloned troopers and other stuff, why can't the BE create NPC humanoides, who could be controled by everyone, just like the faction pets.
Second Idea, goes along with the first one, Doctors can buff the players Health, str, cons, action... Dancer can Buff the mind, focus... since BE can create enhancer for clothing, could they be able to buff the players ? would be nice to add bleeding defence, increase dmg, or even had a Disease/poison effect... that's just some idea i had and i wanted to know your point of wiew, and maybe interest the devs...

I accually think thats a great idea!
People can purchase the bio-cloths us tailors make, then................
take a lovely injection to go along with it, or pill if the person hates needles!
bio-engineers DO work in the medical science field so i think it wouldnt be bad for them
to have more to do in that aspect of things.
Also it would inspire more Bio-Engineers to stay in the field, cause i notice alot
are dissapearing, i know this because i sometimes have trouble finding BE's to purchase
tissues from.

i like how it is atm: demand is high and supply is low, thus great business
lol j/k. i always thought there should be more 'cloning' involved in BEing, like perhaps giving BEs the ability to work with architects in creating personal cloning facilities so that people can clone in their home after death? that would be cool.
I dislike the buffing idea, it would mean that a lot of people would become BEs and I would 10x amount of people /telling me. I never change my title for two reasons: 1) I am proud of my profession and I wear my title proudly and 2) I enjoy humiliating people with my macroed responses, such as:
/r I know how you feel, people keeping telling me too. I swear though, the next person who tells me will get such an ear full they'll wish they never messaged me;

The buffing idea is interesting, but I do kind of like being in a rare profession.

Being able to create/clone more things would be ideal, however I too also like being part of an "elite" profession that not everyone is playing atm.
I've never had so much fun with a crafting profession before! I love the fact that its all about sampling and experimenting (for making creatures) rather than trying to find the latest patch of uber raw materials.

Not really saying everyone should race to the bio-engineer profession, just as much as i would hate to see Tailor become to newest trend for profession choices. I am just referring to the decline in bio-engineers, alot give up on it easy when they see that its a very
complex profession, but thats why i like you guys

Personally i like a non FOTM profession... the fact ppl drop it becoz it is a hard and mysterious crafting profession.... makes me like it more and more
I dont mind if they keep it like this... maybe some fresh new tissues to keep us going.... but dear god nooooo, dont make us buff ppl.... Buffing and armor is what wrecked most of the game as it is... let's not add another dimension to this.

Thx for feedback, I too like being a rare profession, but i would like to become more useful to the galaxy by being able to ''buff' my friends...
And I have tought about this just a few mins ago, its probably an old issue, but, i would really like to be able to use the pets I create without being a CH... I tought i could use at least lvl 10 pets but it doesnt seem to work, too bad i had this very cool narglach with disease/poison and 1k HAM , lvl 10

narglach is an aggresive skin and only CH's with 2xxx can use them. Check the FAQ for a list of all (non-)aggressive skins. Veermoks and Dalyrakes are my faves

I hate to say it, but if it requires the Devs to write code it's not going to happen for at least a year.

I like the idea of faction pets. That's a real unique and interesting idea actually. I love it. It would actually give us an entirely new market to sell into, and if done correctly would not be a game balance issue since it could simply be an alternative to getting a stormtrooper from the faction recruiter. I'm assuming that this would also have to involve others like armorsmiths, weaponsmiths, andperhaps tailors, because these humanoids would need equipping, but that could certainly be a lot of fun
Not so crazy about the buffing thing though, for two reasons. Firstly, as far as it's impact on the game, I feel that buffing has had a really detrimental impact on the game and I'd hate to see it get worse. Hopefully they will nerf the heck out of buffs when the combat balance comes around because right now buffs have removed all concerns of defensive strategy and skills and I'd really hate to see new ways to buff be added into that whole mess. Secondly, and this is more of a personal playstyle thing, I'd be hard pressed to find anything more boring then standing in the starport hollering "plz form a line for the buffbot". It's a good way to make a ton of cash with little effort and then that frees up your time to persue things outside your profession, assuming you don't like "playing" the profession in the first place, but I find it somewhat distasteful, but like I said that's just a personal playstyle thing. Judging by how many docs do it, apparently a lot of people have no such qualms.

We already make Coagulants for bleeding defence - and we 'buff' Warcry, Intimidate, Stun, Meleeand Cover.
I have no objection to more diversification though

With the changes that went in today on TC, Doc's are going to be buffing poison and disease resists.
