I started out selling them for 10 times the total bonus (a +13 / +13 tissue I would sell for 260 credits). I had to chaneg that right quick when my tissues would sell out within an hour of putting them on me vendor so I bumped prices a lot.. too much n fact. I am trying to settle on pricing that results in a factory run of 5 crates of tissues to take a week to sell since it takes me about a week to round up enough resources for another facotyr run. This way I will eget a rep for always having tissues in stock. Currently, I am at 2000 credits per tissue. It should ne noted that I am a Master BE and use the best resources available which means I pay aquite a bit of money to Rangers to collect all the different bones, meats, and hides required.

200 credits per point. At that price they sell well. So if you have a Tensile 4-17, its 3400. Usually if it has 2 stats, I charge on the lower. Active bio that was a throw back making a schematic that is 14-16, it is 2800. I sell Enhanced Myo's at 5k, they will normally be 15-15 or 16-16.

Some people sell them cheaper, but if they make them too available, they run out of quality stuff. Much of what you need to make really good tissues, you will not buy for 3 cpu. Consider yourself lucky if you get it for 10 cpu. More likely, you will have plane tickets and 15 cpu. Also, you must have large stacks so it tends to cut out newbies killing Chubbas. And the meat shifts like once a week. You will have gobs of unusable meat in small stacks that you will have to sellfor 3 cpu, or destroy. As time goes on, your storage costs will also go up. Tailors are selling this stuff for 1k per point, so a piece that has the 4-17 tensile would sell for 17k. The tailors are more worried about quality and availability than the difference of a couple hundred credits.

If you have to sell by price, you will die by price

Haven't sold any tissues yet, I'm also a tailor and been trying to get the initial rush out of the way - and need all I could possibly make for my own stock - but I may this week.

I charge 500cr a pt on clothing. Not sure yet what I might sell tissues or cloth for. I'm a little afraid to sell the cloth because of a bug that destroyed the bonus if you pulled it out of the crate before using in the schematic - don't want any of my customers running into that one and getting burned. Not sure if that one has been fixed yet or not.

I'm seriously considering just using the same pricing scheme - 500cr a pt on cloth. One step is already avoided for failure - and MANY tailors are charging 1k a pt on bonuses - this gives them plenty of wiggle room in their pricing. I've even had merchants buy from me at my full retail price - and turn around and make a handy profit on the pieces (which is fine) and even seen a few of my pieces pop up here in board auctions.

Now - these are all advanced tissues/cloth, I don't even bother making minor ones usually. Those - maybe 300cr a pt - they don't take quite so many resources, but sniper is the only one that comes to mind because of mollusk - maybe entertainer for eggs - although those are starting to show up in a little better numbers.

Don't get me started on milk.

I sell all tissues that do not need special things (eggs, milk, mullusk) for 2k, and if it needs eggs, usually around 2500 ea because the person usually gives me eggs. The Milk tissues go for like 35k depending if I loot or buy milk.

looks like I might need to raise my prices, ive been selling crates of coagulant agents with effectiveness of +12-+16 for 10k per crate. Think ill start with 100credits per stat point which currently would more than double my prices. I guess ill just keep adjusting accordingly to demand.... thanks for the info )

Heres one that Ive been fighting with lately. What do you charge if the person supplies all the components for a rare Tissue? Say an Active Tranquilizer?

Do you charge them to make it? or do you tell them that you wont make it? (because in essence youre
under cutting yourself)?

I've been making roughly +12 through +14 range tissues (I can't seem to get higher, might be just my resources aren't that good, but that's beside the point). I sell those at 3k credits for each tissue (the exception is enhanced myoflex which I sell for 4k credits each; also, I haven't made any of the taming tissues because, well, I haven't gotten any milk in enough quantity ). I've only seen one other bio-engineer that had tissues onhis vendorand he hadhis prices much, much higher than mine (25k credits-60k credits ).

Pathis, this has to depend on your personal situation. I do this for free for my PA's chef because I'm not interested in selling chef tissues. But I do tailor tissues myself, and therefore don't do factory runs for anyone.

I do give exclusivity to the tailor I work with, however.

Selling +14 tissues for 2k each. This doesn't seem too bad since a MBE doesn't need real great stuff for a +14. When I make MBE and get those +16 and up tissues, I might raise it to 3k each.

I have not yet made it to master but I was I thinking about starting out at:

High Skill * (High Skill * 10)

This give a little advantage to the higher quality tissues but still get a fair price for the normal ones.

Example: A +15/+15 would be 15 * (15 * 10) = 2250 and a +18/+18 would be 18 * (18 * 10) = 3240

When I choose to sell tissues (which isn't all that often) I charge around 50k/crate, sometimes a little less. Generally these tissues are in the +13 - +15 range. I really don't obsess over the quality of tissues as some people do, since they stack pretty well, and of all the end-customers I've run into as a tailor I've yet to run into a customer who turned their nose up at a +13 tissue.
