lol, let me continue his thought, because i was wondering about the combo myself. How good is the combo? Are you able to hunt your own meat effeciently? Also, what else do you have to accompany this template?![]()
I'll answer the second question first. There aren't enough points left after MCH and MBEfor much accompany this template.
As for hunting with this combination, you'll have to rely on your pets to do the killing, since you wont have much (if at all) combat ability of your own.

Not entirely true unless you want a legit vendor, then you are really screwed. Otherwise I was a 0-03-1 pistoleer and was able to do over 1k dmg per shot with my FWG5's. Now that I am a merchant (grr!) I have to just stand there and watch, I am not sure how much more I can take, I picked up a carbine off an ST and use that it makes me feel a little better, but my max so far was 15pts of DMG. LOL watch out!Message Edited by GMANHNC on 05-27-2004 07:21 PM
You're right. When I was thinking of being a MBE/MCH I also had all 4 of the survey line in Artisian which reduced the number of skill points I had left over.

As for hunting with this combo would i be able to handle a good size Creature and still be effective in hunting for meat?*side note i will have enough skill points for 0032 artisan
Nothing Wild will be that great, but as long as you get a good BE pet you should do ok.
I was CH first then picked up BE as holo, was already almost qualified for it, so was no big deal to pick up. Was half way to master Pistoleer, and Master CH both.
I dropped Pistol skills slowly as went up the BE Chart I dropped my first aid skills right away (what a waste once they changed the heal to go in que heal speed didn't mater much then, or does that affect pet stims WOW just occured to me, that would be useful lol) Anyway, now AM MCH/MBE and was pistol 0031 (the one is very important if you have never been a pistoleer)
But I needed a vendor, and decided i should be on the map for optimal sales. (I will snap if doesn't payoff, I hope it does or will have to flood bazar with high end 6k pets sorry fellow Gorathian BE's) So Now I just Stand there and watch my boys rip stuff apart some times I sit down and eat stuff like a picnic... SPECIALS ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO ME RIGHT NOW go MT. SQUILLS WAHOO!

I love being this combo.. I usually can get most of my own resources for the BE... Occasionally I ask for help in that department, especially for speciality meat of high quality before they disappear again for who knows how long. I also like the fact that I can try out a good pet and see how well it really works before I make a couple of them. Also I can make Non CH mountables.... make sure they are valid and grow them... sell them on slow days in front of starports... for those wonderful impluse buyers who don't want to waste their time for the pet to grow!!! I do wish I could have a bit better weapons but since I need a vaild vendor it is tough.... but it isn't too bad since I can make make own tanks. I still love the thrill of finding those rare / tamable pets for my own pleasure!!! Especially while I am out there sampling away!!. And the mission money on Sampling to Death pets is wonderful while my babies help protect me!!! What in the world is better then that??!!??
Of course CH is a profession of love!! There is not much money in it and trade is limited to those in the profession for the most part! BE there is the temptation of Money... but often it is too a profession of love since it take a great amount of love, patience and work to make those wonderful pets out there!! Especially with those Crit Failures on a multi gen pet **grrrrrrrrr**
I wouldn't have it any other way... but that is my own opinion.....
