Here are the issues that we collectively identified in the other thread. I ask that you each take a look at the issues, give some thought to them, and give me a list of which you think are the 10 most important (1 = most important, 10 = least important). Also, please help me out and keep discussions here to a minimum. If you want to discuss these issues, please do so in the other thread. If I can't determine what the issues are that are listing, or have to read through long paragraphs to find them, then your feedback will not be counted.




Game Balance

1. lack of skill tapes

2. lack of secret research data

3. vendors for BE's

4. too many skill points used for BE

5. dna storage (laboratory, blood, freezer, droid,etc.)

6. harvesting of dna samplingkills

7. experimentation & assembly failure rate(also losing the dna template)

8. tissue ingredients vs desirability balance

9. dna sampling failure rates

10. BE's excluded from FS crafters quest (both unlocking and transferring xp)

11. larger crate size for tissues

12. tissue complexity too high

13. larger stack size for harvestables

14. BE's often find themselves becoming "schematic monkeys" rather than selling products

15. The CL 10 problem

16. The covert BE dna sampling, TEF scenario


Bugs

17. dna sampling with full backpack

18. 33/33/33 tissues

19. CL level not reflected in size of creature

20. Misc pet crafting oddities (as documented by NancyJ)

21. pet pharma showing up in wrong category of vendor/bazar

22. unusable specials shouldn't show on dna samples

23. creature warping (including upwards) during sampling & milking

24. color specified during creature assembly isn't reflected in tamed creature

Ok, I'll list mine and set a good example of the format that I'm looking for



1) #15 -The CL 10 problem

2) #26 - more tailor and chef tissues

3) #25 - more variety in craftable creatures (new skins, colors, sizes)

4) #5 - dna storage (laboratory, blood, freezer, droid,etc.)

5) #27 - more high level sampleable creatures added to game (also the apparent CL sampling cap)

6) #14 - BE's often find themselves becoming "schematic monkeys" rather than selling products

8) #28 - BE creator's name listed on tamed creature when /examine

1 14. BE's often find themselves becoming "schematic monkeys" rather than selling products
2 35. some method for hitting target CLs more easily (CL displayed during experimentation, CL limits, experimenting status down, etc.)

honestly though, i think if 3 OR 4 were fixed, it would solve both problems for the most part
and i think 34 should be included IN 25, but that's me

dont forget about how when a MBE go out and dna sample a low lvl creature and 1 sample of it end up killing it. or when we dna our own pet deed and the thing end up dead with no dna to show.

If it makes top 5, I think they should be: More explanatory info listed on DNA, schematics, deeds, and pets, and then an explanation. Since these are all basically text changes, I wouldn't think they should be hard to do.)

Oh no, creature warping doesn't fit, and it NEEDS to go on this list! I say we combine a few of the similar ones. BE Quests and the FS issues could perhaps be one. All of the "more info" types, including donor's name,could be one.


Are you SURE they don't want our top 50?

There are so many great suggestions listed that it's hard to limit it to just ten but here aremy top ten...

  4. 30.)more explanatory info listed in creature schematics: minimum CL, aggro/non-aggro status, mountable

  5. 31.)more explanatory info listed on pet deed: suitability for non-ch, aggro/non-aggro, mountable

  6. 25.) more variety in craftable creatures (new skins, colors, sizes)

  7. 26.)more tailor and chef tissues

  8. 24.) color specified during creature assembly isn't reflected in tamed creature

  9. 18.) 33/33/33 tissues

  10. 8.) tissue ingredients vs desirability balance

Issues #30 & 31, imo, fall into the same heading, and the same could be said with issues #25 & 26, and could be condensed into one item.

These are issues that I feel are almost as important, and I had a hard time decidingif they should be in the top ten or not soIincluded themasrunner-ups.
