I'm going to be the queen of boycotts.

Until people listen that it doesn't matter what skin the animal is, I'm boycotting all orders for Kimos, and Rancors for that matter.

This is what the BE wants to know when you order:

Skin - look at the BE skill tree and pick an animal, if the BE is a master they can make them all. Pick a color if that matters to you. I'm making them Pink if you don't specify.

Level - if you are CH, then what level can you use? Look in your skills and see what your max pet level is. If you are non CH, then let us know, otherwise you'll end up with a pet you can't use.

Resists - which ones are important to you? Are there specific numbers you would like us to reach? Which resists do you not care about (if any)?

Specials - What specials do you want your pet to have? Pick 2. We are limited to what combinations we can make, but if you at least let us know what kind of specials to try to make, fantastic.

Stats - do you want more HAM, more Damage, ?

Armor - yes/no

Anyone else want to add to this?

I'm willing to duel bearded jax vs. kimo, I think will be hilarious when the jax wins.

To anyone who has emailed/messaged me for a pet - I'm still experimenting, reading the boards and finding out what DNA is best used to get the desired results. I'm not ignoring you or putting you off . . . sometimes it's really hard to type when running away from a Bull Rancor . . .or I'm really afk.

The skin doesn't matter? I thought there was a minimum CL for each skin, also is there a max CL for each skin?

i am a master CH on the KAURI server in search of a BE to devote my business (pet and stim buying) to...other than the very first post in this thread, is there another someone can link me to that will spell out (in pretty basic form) what the BEs can work into a pet now?

have cash, ready and WILLING to spend, show off, and pass on the good word of my BE suplier !!

I just love the way everyone asks for Kimo's now. Some CH's don't know that we can actually make a durni with the same stats as our cloned Kimo's. I think most people that want Kimo's want them as kind of a novelty pet. Just wait until they're full grown and the CH's don't like the fact they can't see anything with that Kimogila out.

Ya know some of want a Kimo skinjust because it's a Kimo..

I'm bumping this due to to the fact I'm still getting an outrageous number of requests for "uber" pets. A person said to me this evening that they actually read my posts and thought I was nice, but now think my people skills suck poo (well they said something else). In fact I'll link the screenshot so everyone can see

. . . what I don't get is if they thought the pets on my vendor sucked (all the good ones are sold within a couple hours of me putting them up for sale), why would they ask me to make them something? I'm beginning to think that having a BE tag on at all, or posting here is a big mistake. Did I lack patience in that conversation, yes, was I busy hunting, yes. I'm usually more helpful and friendly, but something about the request "make me an uber pet" just puts me off and makes me not want to deal with them. Baiting the BE's with money is probably going to get you nowhere, most of us are not lacking in that area, and that isn't the issue anyway. We need time, and for our customers to be educated. Someone please tell me how this is possible, to educate them, or do we just ignore them? What do other professions do (I know we are not the only ones who get this)?

When did not having the capacity to fill or take requsts for orders that number in the hundreds make us not people persons, or undedicated for that matter? I don't know about you guys but I play many hours, every day, and I'm way behind on EVERY order. Mostly due to the fact it takes me a good couple hours to get the DNA, then come back to my lab, combine, opps didn't work, go back out, repeat. If I tell people I'm just too busy, or that I have been replying to the over 100 requests I get for impossible pets (someone asked for a bugged level 1 rancor, never heard of that), or just trying to explain that they need to be very specific about what they want, now I'm a whiner.

True story... except the burst run part... and maybe I took some liberties with the grammer. Actually I think I just asked again for training and then took a shuttle somewhere.

I'm on a crusade to convince people that the skin doesn't matter for HIGH level pets. Once I make master i'm gonna make like 20 Kimos out of Butterfly Drone DNA (yeah they'll be CL40 or whatever, but they'll still only have like 200 HAM) and then make a bunch of great pets in various skins (Gurrecks being fast and one of my favorite skins) and put them on my vendor. Maybe THEN people will see the light.

What's the best CL 10 pet you can make?

How much would a 1K HAM rancor with no specials cost?

The standard requests are for kimos, grauls and rancors with at least 10K HAM, light armor and high kinetic resists.

I think I'm just going to stop taking custom orders. The new cloning system is so damned complex I'm not even guaranteeing folks they'll get what they ask for. DNA sampling is tedious, and frankly, if you're looking for a pet, look at my vendor and pick one of the three dozen or so there that tickles your fancy. I've started making myself non-searchable, and wearing only my Master Scout tag. It's safer.
