Thread: Why is it so hard to find a master BE that wants to make money ..??
I admitt i have no idea on what it takes to be a BE.. that is why this is an honest question.. not meant to insult.. but this is what i have posted on my servers trade forum and normal server forum... Is this not MORE than Fair pricing?? or am i wrong?? please tell me I would like some pets asap.. and im trying to pay quite a bit more than market value to get them .. thanks..
... I am looking for a custom order.. this is what i will pay each for 2 NoN CL pets..
5cpu per average ham point.. (add health action and mind and devide by 3)
50 cpu per resist point..
1k per 10% kenetic resist
20k light armor -or-
40k medium armor
10k per special ...
so example...
4k HAM..
light armor..
40% kenetic..
20% on rest ..
two specials.. means i would be paying.. 71k for this animal.. and i want two...
I dont know.. what is possible combination.. that is why i want to talk with one of you to decide.. please contact me in game..
please contact me before you make any of these.. i want to have some choices
Thanks
Imaka
You cant get armor1 on a cl 10 pet
you cant go higher than 3k on a cl10 pet
you cant get higher than 20% resists on a cl10 pet
you cant go higher than 50 dps on a cl10 pet
if you want any combination of 2 through 4, yer gonna have to cut back in certain places, less ham and attack for 20% resists, or less resists to get 3k ham.
non CH pets are not meant for fighting. We can give you high resists/ham, but the dps wont keep the targets attention. we can give it great dps, but the ham wont last much more than 2 hits.
the pet in your example is most likely going to be cl16-20 depending on attack stats.

Most of this is all wrong. I've personally made 4.5k ham cl10's and i'm fairly sure you can get higher than 20 resistance's also. You can make good tank cl10's but it takes a lot more work.

Really so why oh why do these CL18ish clones actually have stats lower than what you made at CL10? It's because there's a bug which allows non-masters to create bugged clones with false CL ratings.

.. as for the noxious kahmurrith dna, it doesn't seem to be the root of the problem as you can see from thie hybrid of noxious and defiler dna clone which is2nd gen.

Compare that with the other second gen examples above and you'll see they're quite similar. I did try to get it lower but the **edit** thing crumbled when I resampled it once and failed.
As for masters who want to make money, the fact is that making clones is a real time-sink. Thus you'll find they are either busy with someone elses order or they simply don't have the time. Also at the moment the fact is that most of us don't need to desperately make money. In the past week I've made over 1 million credits myself from aound a dozen hybrid orders.
ok.. so then .. if i want a good tank pet.. i need it to hit a little hard too?? or i will pull the mob off my pet??..
would someone confirm this.. also.. there are two .. opposing oppinions .. on maxes for cl10 pets can some others.. confirm either.. side..???
thanks
Even if its a bug its not like i'm trying to exploit it, no there is no kam... whatever dna. piket in 1,2,5 and lpb or butterflies in 3 and 4. So if the game is giving the wrong stats thats not my fault. Sucks for you masters yes but to say that its an exploit and i'm doing wrong, no.

Thank you!
I mean I understand that these results are undesirable from a game balance perspective, but to label it a bug, suggest that we should not be making clones if we are not masters, and to insinuate that anyone who does is an exploiter is frankly, Bull**edit**.
Yes, it does seem unbalancing. So did KD back in the beginning of the game. No one labled anyone who spammed KD in a fight to be an exploiter. Eventually the devs saw that it was unbalanced and corrected the issue (in turn breaking the system for several classes before they got it right over the course of 3 patches). Hopefully, the system will get tweaked into something a bit more balance, but until it does, how about everyone keep their vitriol to themselves?
I agree with Anubi. It seems that a lot of masters are bent out of shape because they're unable to create clones with the same results as lower-level BEs, and they're quick to label something as a "bug". I agree that it should be desirable that a MBE could target final creature level with more precision, but that's not how the new system was designed. It's more of a flaw in logic on the Dev's part, than it is a "bug".
I created a CL9 Brackaset, HAM 10000/6000/4000, AR0, 54% Kinetic, 12% Energy, Vulnerabilities in just about everything else, 150-170 Dam, No specials. It was made entirely from Endorian DNA (Read: None of that NocKam Stuff) and was the result of *a lot* of in-breeding, resampling, critical failures, etc. I probably spent two hours of in-breeding and engineering-in fresh DNAto get this "happy accident". I've tried to reproduce this pet in the past 3 days and have had ZERO luck.

Oops, got cut off.
But what I wanted to say regarding that brackaset was that this high HAM non-CH was the result of hours of hard work, experimentation, trial & error, and luck, ... NOT some bug. To make the HAM that high I made a lot of trade offs: no armor, low damage, many vulnerabilities, no specials, etc. Frankly, I think that's the way it should be: to get high results in one aspect of the clone should require trade-offs with its other stats.
