1. Get your own recipes
- its what makes this profession fun, if someone just gives you loads of recipes then you're never gonna have fun making pets. Its fun going out to three different planets for hours on end and making loads of templates and hurrying back to your lab to make them into pets
For newbies, there is a cl10 formula in the FAQ, that should get you started.
2. Quality of resources in pets, we believe, has absolutely effect on the final pet outcome so just use junk.

Hey guys,
I love soloing out Rebel missions but i've found that im getting out-fire-powered by the mobs im killing i.e.I get them to say 10% of dying when i die.
Would it be a good idea if i got a friend to train a pet for me...so i could send that in while i sit and shoot?
would that give me the edge?
and wouldi be able to use the pet properly seeing as i have no Creature Handling skill?
Thanx in advance

non Ch pets are quite weak, you are restricted to level 10 maximum, one may help though, check what a Bio engineer could make.
As a CH, my advice to you would be to get a combat droid. You can have a level 30 combat droid, which should be more effective than the level 10 pet.
That bit of extra firepower should, it sounds, be enough to help you win

hehe, sorry, CH is Creature Handler. creature taming etc is what I do, (along with firing my rifles) , and at the minute, I would say in my experience a level 30 combat droid would be muchbetter than any pet you can control as a non CH, purely because of the level difference.
My best advice would be to find a Droid Engineer (they make the droids) on your server, and send them a mail explaining what you want, they are much more knowledgable on droids than I am, but from seeing both level 10 pets and level 30 droids, I beleive the droid will help you more.
Good luck

Thanx muchly, not sure if i need a droid though.
I can't really invest as much time as i would like in this game so leveling in BH Rm and CH would be pretty tough to do, or would Novice CH be sufficientbecause i could grind that in a day lol.
I am eventually gonna go Jedi so this is really a part-time thing

You dont need any CH to control a droid, you just buy them.
thats why it would be better. Without CH you can only have a level 10 animal pet. Level 12 at novice CH.
However, anyone in game can have a level 30 combat droid.

If you're doing faction mission you can buy a rebel soldier for faction points, I'm not sure how high a level you can get but I've got a lvl 10 that cost a few hundred faction pointsand that was the lowest you could buy!
