Thread: What's the fastest vehicle period?

Not exactly sure where to post this but since it's Artisan's that craft most vehicles I'll try here. Which vehicle is the fastest in the game? Is it the Swoop, AV-21, or the Barc Speeder?

There's been some discussion about this recently on this forum, but nobody has conclusively said one way or the other. I'm sure it's been conclusively decided here in the past, but I missed it.
here's one fact though:
Av-21 and the swoop have the same speed (fastest), but the Av-21 also is the best on hills (swoop has trouble there).
The only ones I'm not sure about are the Barc (I doubt it's any faster than the Av-21 or swoop, but might be equal?) and the new skiff. I really hope it's slow, since it's just aferry boat, but I haven't bought the expansion so I can't find out for sure. Oh - and the jetpack is also fast, but again I doubt it's any faster than the Av-21 or swoop. I remember way back there was some discussion about why vehicles couldn't be faster than the Av-21 - apparently it wasn't possible in the game coding or something. But that was a while ago, before swoop, skiff, or jetpack came to be. Things may have changed, but I suspect that the Av-21 is still the best.

The Jetpack is as fast as any other vehicle, I believe, but has the distinct advantage of having perfect terrain negotiation. Both the AV-21 and the Barc speeder also have identical speeds and very good terrain negotiation. The swoop has the samespeed, but only average terrain negotiation.
So, it all depends on terrain which one is the fastest.

Well I read in the expansion stuffs that the Skiff is going to be the fastest multi-person vehicle in game. If that is true.. it'll be better than an AV-21 speed wise.. not sure on how the terrain is with it.

skiff is suppost to be the fastest multiperson speeder, hopefully its good on hills too because with the ability for 8 people total you could move a whole group at once with one speeder.

If I remember correctly, the skiff has all of the terrain negotiation of the V-35... i.e. practically none at all.

wrong, i have both, jetpacks is the same on flat so overall jet is better
