lol, I didn't that for the first part of the game. Got annoying... use to walk from Nym's all the way down to the volcano on Lok... now that was fun

The fastest vehicle is a spaceship. On land, it is the jetpack.

Jetpack, av21, barc, Swoop. overall.
Al have the same max speed, just decreasing from left to right in terrain negotiation.

Based on advertised statements, the skiff should be faster than an AV-21.

You've been around long enough to know better...
I thought that at some point they said that nothing could be faster than the AV-21, swoop, etc. That it was hard-coded into the game, and any attempts to make something faster would result in the server exploding, everyone getting stuck at 0,0 on Tatooine, and Jabba's palace getting removed. Oh wait - maybe they've been experimenting recently...

So I heard a rumor that the skiff is really slow. I didn't buy the expansion, so I can't test this myself. Can anyone verify this? And is this just the normal 'vehicles are slow after a patch' problem (or misconception?) or are they actually slow compared to other vehicles?

Actually, the skiff seems to be pretty fast.
I'd need some side by side testing to be sure, but it feels at least as fast as an AV-21. Not sure about uphill, tho.

I've not had a great deal of time to try it out.. setting up bunker and all the CL30 aggro's massing in the area make it impossible for me to pull it out and do a full scale run.. I'd die before I got anywhere

i was just about keeping up with my friend's swoop. so i think the swoop is still the fastest outside of products made by Acme.
