"The early vehicle schematics will be located within the artisan profession, allowing even relatively "young" characters to build landspeeders, speeder bikes, and swoops. The vehicles can then be purchased by other players in-game."

All three are in Eng 4, complexity level 20 for the swoop and speeder, level 25 for the X34. Shock Resist is the only stat that matters.

Excellent news, although there are far more Artisans than Creature Handlers, so I wouldn't expect the prices to be anywhere near the Mount Craze silliness.
I'd expect most of the 'real' vehciles to be along later, possibly in a new profession though.

As a Master Artisan myself, this makes me happy. I know well how hard it can be to make a buck, and I don't intend to sell the vehicles myself, though I will certainly make my own.
My real question is this: What will experimentation do for/to vehicles? Can we make a speeder bike more durable by using high Unit Toughness steel?

Does anyone know the resources needed to make the various vehicles?

Logging on to Test Center now. I've got Artisan 4023 there so I can post the schematic requirements here and I'll submit them to swgcraft.com

Speederbike: 250 non-ferous, 1000 ferous. Complex 20. Shock Resistence 100%.
Swoop: 250 non-ferous, 1000 ferous. Complex 20. Shock Resistence 100%.
X34 Landspeeder: 450 non-ferous, 1200 ferous. Complex 25. Shock Resistence 100%.
It's "Loading" but this was posted on TC forum. At last I have something new to do in game
From what it sounds like Speederbikes are fast & fragile. I'll sell em by the crate
We have a new grinding item ahahahh

Looks like I'm gonna have to lose the 'Master Artisan' tag soon, I remember seeing all the Master CH's get swamped with /tells and spatial the day that mounts went live

nah... there's so many artisans... and at these prices if you really wanted to you could just about put them on the bazar for 3k.

I doubt experimentation will even play a role in these early vehicles. I mean look at DE and how long that's been in game.
Vehicles won't cost alot as it looks like any noob can grind up to eng 4 and make themselves a vehicle if they want to.
Haha I am gonna enjoy pulling out my swoop bike from a tiny factory crate

Heh. I was just coming on this board to ask if artisans could still make anything salable. This is good news.
