Well I left my CL2 on Mustafar on a 90% spawn of a steel that had SIX of SEVEN stats over 910. Three north of 980. I pulled up around 7k overnight. And I'm happy with that.

Whats the big deal?? It's not that hard to macro it and leave it running when your asleep? Many of you forget how you initially 'ground' your profession. You know, when you were so dirt poor you'd mine all night and craft what you mined overnight during your day hours.

Yeah it'd be neat if they tied in something that wouldn't allow the 'PROFITEER SPECULATORS' to have an advantage of lot farms. But would allow a Master craft profession or Master Artisan some benefit of mining there, through a quest or simple artisan missions. Say you'd get 30k of something much like someone would get that loot item for killing a bad guy or completing tasks.

Yeah Mustafar is a mining planet, but I just can't see a bunch of forgotten Heavy BER's littering the landscape smoking and condemned. See it enough already.

I also noticed the shifts are fast. Say a couple of days or even a day on some.

And the critters? C'mon get your mask scent and camoflage BE clothes and avoid the red arrows. How hard is that? So you get an incap, whoop-dee-do you wait and go around them to the best possible spot...keeping them at 60 meters range. It's not rocket science. My lil guy spent all last night sucking up that steel with three raptors and a lava flea sentry (aggro) merely 70 m away.

I am guessing the only way to mine resources on the new planet is to Sample them. Yup, sample them. LOL.

Get your Sampling macro loaded up and leave your guy afk. Maybe in a week you can accumulate 10K or so!!

Crate of free resources...

Was hoping for something like regular harvesters or a quest or something to allow us to mine the resources. Would have been good content. Guess it will be like asteroid material. Very Very expensive

Well I will prob set the prices about the same cause I can AFK mine Musafar but I have to actually be there to mine asteroids.

Just got my nice new Mark III mining laser and it seems to mine more each time. Will have to put back in my old cargo hold and test it to be sure.

Well I will prob set the prices about the same cause I can AFK mine Musafar but I have to actually be there to mine asteroids.

Just got my nice new Mark III mining laser and it seems to mine more each time. Will have to put back in my old cargo hold and test it to be sure.

Well Mustafar when live yesterday right? I surveyed for all the inorganics, found an aluminum that's 10% better than any ever seen on Wanderhome. Today, there's a new Aluminum and that one is gone. If the rest move this fast these resources will be better than anything we have now but they will also be very difficult to acquire in useful quantities.

Wow, 1 day spawn.... i'm a little worried 30k resource deeds are about to go the way of the ADK....

<--- bought 20 of them, but will probably need many more if this is true...

Currently the only way is to sample. I managed to get 2K of steel after sampleing a 78% spot for two hours or so. Leep in mind that most parts of the planet are very dangerous, CL67+ MOBs/NPCs in most places. Many players are hopeing/pushing for a minning droid to help with resource gathering.

We're having a discussion about this now. I've represented the concerns about harvesting on Mustafar that I have seen in this forum. Perhaps we'll see something, be it the droid or other ideas.

My crafter doesn't have ToOW, so it should be useable by non-crafter chars too.
