good question and how many ca or aa can you combine and what are the rules governing the ca and aa. how many, do others counter others, etc.

The highest bonus you can get to a particular skill from clothing mods (either from tapes or BE tissues included in the clothing when the tailor crafted it) is +25, and that's total across all worn clothing. So you can have a +25 shirt; or a +10 shirt, +8 belt, +7 pants; etc.

You get one experimentation point for every 10 you have in your "artisan experimentation" skill. At 44xx artisan, you have 100 just from skill boxes. As a Human, you get +15 artisan experimentation as a racial bonus, putting you at 115 (so 11 points). If you got the max +25 bonus from tapes, that puts you at 100 + 15 + 25 = 140, so 14 points.

so if you added in the +20 from the village you would have +160 and you would be a 16 point artisan?

No. The "Force experimentation" bonus acts like Bespin Port: your experiments are more likely to succeed at a higher level (amazing success vs. just great success), but you don't get more points.

this is just a "what if", no CA's but force experimentation...would it then act as the CA's and you get to be a 14pt artisan?

NO, Force Experimentation only affects the outcome of the assembly/crafting of an item. It does not give you any additional experimentation points.

I am a human14 point Artisan (+25 in Artisan Experimentation Tapes). Also, possess Crafting Mastery. The column of Experimentation in FS just adds to your success roll for experimentation, list the Port. However, I've noticed that when I try to drink Port and craft it almost seems to act as a negative now that I have the FS Experimentation. However, crafting in a research center with FS Experimentation is noticeable more successful.

The new power-ups really require 14 points of experimentation to cap with the bext resources. I'd recommend getting the tapes for power-ups, artisan foods and perfect electronics for Architects.

then the next question: is the force crafting really useful. if you are a master artisan/human with +20 in artisan experimentation CAs then why the village?

i am not trying to be a smart ass just wanting to figure out what i am going to do with my extra 5 points that i will have at the end of my template. is the village really worth it for artisans and crafters?

You will need a total of 20 points to receive the extra 2 exper points for use.

If you have a +9 then 11more

Keep in mind that they must be all wearble at the same time, so you will want +3 or higher mods to creat an outfit that applies all +20 skill points.

+25 is the max any mod {BE or SEA} in clothing/armor will give, but for each exper point you need only 10 {+10 skill mod=1 exper point of use}
