Man, this ain't nothing....
We've had a number of publishes that borked things up worse than this MAJOR UPGRADE did. And giving them 4 weeks basically says you're not going to quit, as in 4 weeks we will have forgotten all about that boring old combat system and wondering why we ever put up with such a lame thing as it was.....

Powerups for all intents and purposes are basically worthless. They mitigate any bonuses pretty much 100% with an opposing negative stat. Weapons are often worse with pups than they are without.
I need to retract this statement. PuPs made with basic resources and with only base master artisan exp will fit the above category. However using top notch resources as a 14pt artisan I've been able to create some nice pups.
Tactical Grip
-27.05% speed / -11 accuracy
or
-18.89% speed / -0 accuracy
so as you can see it is possible to get pups with no penalties, though it is by no means easy. both of these pups were using 990+ resources as a 14pt artisan and both were double amazing schems. I'll be playing with a few others later, but at least we can see where things might become interesting finally for master artisans.

So, instead of all Master Artisans being able to make good powerups, now you have to be human AND collect +25 in SEA's in order to make good powerups......real balanced that is....

How many exp points are you using(if you only have 10 points that would help explain it), and are you crafting until you get amazings on experimentation(this is equivelent to two additional points). I don't normally keep a schematic unless I get double amazings on the experimentation, which takes many tries in order to get, but ultimately gets you the equivilent of two extra points. Here are stats on a few more...
-27.36% SAC / -6accuracy
-27.05% SAC / -5accuracy
-22.89% SAC / -2accuracy
High Power Barrel
+27.67% damage / +6.13% speed
+27.05% damage / +5.99% speed
+21.02% damage / +1.31% speed

A 10 point Artisan is A MASTER! Master Crafters should be able to produce good power-ups, just as Master Armorsmiths can produce good armor. I was producing 80/70 Composite as a 10 point 'smith, but you're trying to tell me I have to be Human AND have +25 in skill tapes....WRONG. I should be able to produce good, workable powerups with only 10 experimentation points, and great powerups as a 12 point, and phenomenal powerups as a 14 point. Not, 14 points to produce workable powerups.
Face facts. If you HAVE TO HAVE 14 Exp points to make usable powerups, then the system is broken.
