I don't know if this has been answered before and if it has sorry, but is there a website or something that tells all the different weapons and how much XP is given for each?

Okay I just want clarification. A Mayor only receives XP through Votes, not through ny other means. Ad that XP only given at the ed of the week when votes are tabulated. If a player runs ouncontested ten they receive all votes and all XP, with a cap of 2500XP per week, correct?

Almost, that is all correct except the cap on xp. The cap is twice the the ammount of the xp of the skill block you need. Example the xp for fiscal policy 1 is 1000xp. So the cap would be 2000xp, until you get a higher skill. For fiscal policy 2 the cap would be 5000xp, since the xp required is 2500xp for that skill.

I hope this helps

dang it so there is a cap? We already have 28 votes for our mayor and will most likely have more before the week is up

that sucks

In a couple days I was thinking about going for master ranger since it seems pretty cool. NO a Holocron did NOT tell me to master ranger, and YES I will be pursuing my Holocrons soon. I just figured I want to have some fun before I gimp myself, and I was taking up a minor in Ranger anyway to check out the tracking.

So here is my question. I know all about Scouting xp that is fairly easy to get, and I am not overly concerned about trapping although when mastering scout to get to bounty hunter I HATED trapping, but I think I can handle that easy enough.

But the wilderness survival is whats getting me. Any tips on a way to speed that line up? I actually have a little over 20k right now which is good for the first skill box but I would need another 130,000 wilderness xp if I wanted to get to master.

Now I have done some boring things in this game, but making a camp, sitting in the camp, and counting the minutes, then disbanding making another camp and counting the minutes, well, at least in crafting there is double clicking! Is there any type of shortcut or any other way to get wilderness xp? From what I remember better camps had higher caps and more visitors helped i guess I can chase people around again and throw camps at them I just want to know is there any other way.

Crafting camps and traps grant Wilderness Exp, So does fishing.

So you have your choice of making a camp, crafting while waiting out the 10-30 min's to get max camp exp and get the bonus of crafting exp, or doing something else that is real boring, such as fishing.

Either way, it is a grind to get the wilderness exp, although it took me longer to get the Scouting Exp for Tracking and Wayfaring than it took me to get Frontieering and Trapping.

I think my progression went something like this:

Frontiering, Trapping, Tracking, Wayfaring. (I know I was 2/4/4/4 before my last push on exp.)

But I also was doing Bounty Hunter stuff and took on Creature Handler for just a short while. (That at 17K scouting exp)

The quick way would to be buy many thousands of bone and hide and grind, grind, grind.

Alternatively, enslave a bunch of friends and make them camp with you.

Or you can go out hunting with a bunch of friends, have a good time and make camps each time you stop to heal, change pets or just think of what to do next. A decent size group can give you a good 1k XP in about 5 minutes, and it doesn't seem like grinding at all this way. Plus, you'll have fun doing it.

If you just want to sit around in camp and have a bunch of resources, make a lot of traps. The higher in complexity, the more wilderness survival XP you'll get for each one. I think a sonic pulse trap gives about 100 XP each time you craft one. Someone else suggested making them in practice mode, as it gives a 10% bonus to your XP. That can't be bad. ;-)

Some tips -

Trap XP -make a crate of wire mesh traps, go to dathomir and get into a rancor hunt with one or two friends with pets. You can chain wire mesh onto the rancors, for anywhere from 370xp per hit on youths to 1298 on enraged or mutants I think. I got 1700+ on enraged bulls, but not alot of those and they are mean beasts. I was able to land traps on these starting at the advanced trapping 1. Just tell your friends to let the pets tank on for a while instead of shooting it down fast and you can get thousands of xp on each one. My master CH friend and I got into a tangle with 4 mutants at once and he sent his 2 grauls maulers in watched - I got 37k trap xp in less than 5 minutes there... sure wish there was a master ranger or trainer around there 8 )

Scout XP -harvest the above rancors for the same scout xp as trap xp per. Cant repeat so not as fast, but the loot and harvest bounty is really nice as well. The meat right now on bloodfin is really nice , so I am making a killing selling it as well as leveling nicely.

Wilderness XP - No trick here unless ya got alot of cash and can find a couple large stacks of hide and bone to grind it out on making camps... I did a little of that, but it is too costly to buy stacks of bone and hide generally for me. Plus I dont mind leaving the game running with me in a camp and coming in and re-camping every 30 mins anyway, while doing RL stuff.

Wow thanks a ton for the tips! I did not realize crafting camps or traps gave wilderness xp! So THATS how I built up 20k of that stuff after mastering scout lol. I mastered scout a long, long time ago when pursuing BH and I dont remember getting wilderness xp by crafting.

Yea the trapping xp shouldnt be too bad I still have my BH combat skills and 1-1-0-0 CH so I can send my GSP at some stuff and build some trapping that way. The scouting is very easy to get I heard camo packs on Lok or something makes it easy, but I already got tracking II and it didnt take long running around with a mount and mask scent on dathomir and then, since I got my BH skills still, I was able to kill some nasty stuff, get a lot of hide and scouting xp too.

Thank you so much for the advice. I think starting Saturday I am going for Master.
