I also plan on selling them for 5-10k. I am hoping to get at least 2-3 k profit per vehicle.

Have the schematics been released for vehicles yet? I'd like to see what is going to be offered/required to build them. Looks like it will be pretty interesting.

I'll start at 35k and work down from there. Of course that's the price I'll reply with when people /tell me to ask how much a vehicle will cost.If they are smart enough to bargain andmake the process fun then I'lldrop to 5k or so. I'd rather sell 2 cars a week at that price than sell (and have to make) ten or twelve a day for 10k.

I'm going to charge 5 - 10k. Really, though it all depends on what options are going to be available and if experimentation will be a factor.

And if I can slice it

but won't the empire have an effect on the prices soon? empire is empire, and it's command economy too, so, the empire will prolly add tax in the later patchs (star destroyers are not made of wookie sweat you know), so you'll prolly want to count pricing with the taxation.

You won't get 35k for these unless you're the only guy in the city who can make them.

The cost of ingredients (at 3cr per unit-- the usual bazaar rate) will run 3600cr or so for a swoop or speeder bike. About 4500cr for a landspeeder.

Experimentation should play a big factor, but nobody knows for sure yet. At best though, master artisans aren't rare and since you can drop a speeder bike schematic into a factory and grind out a thousand of them (unlike a master CH who actually needs a little effort to create a trained mount) then I'd expect the market to be flooded within 4 hours of the patch. These will be very reasonably priced.

As for their survivability, some are saying they blow apart as soon as you hit a tree or a rock. You may come across customers who want to buy 3 at a time.

They only take damage when attacked by a npc, creature, or opposing faction member.

Will they be attacked more than mounts get attacked now? Currently my mount only gets attacked if it's grouped (which I don't do) or if I go incap (then for some reason they take their aggression out on my mount).

On test center my price is holding well at 12k for speederbike 15k for landspeeder.

This is VERY high demand, and I basically have people grinding destroy & artisan missions and the last 2-3 to stick around get a break when I log.

On live, it's a tough call. Demand is going to start high and trail off VERY quickly. Resources won't be a problem and these things take 1 minute to make by hand, 3 minutes to factory churn.

I expect to see prices fall to 3k simply because that's bazar limit and as it is these are the easiest items to grind on. You make 10 of them and you go from Artisan 4004 to Master. You make 11 and you're an armorsmith, make 18 and you're an architect.

With subcomponents it would be slightly better. We need optional storage & armor components, fiberplast panel requirements, and so much more... otherwise the price is going to PLUMMET within days.

Considering that you can sell them for that much on the test center, they ought to be selling for much more on the live servers. Honestly, if you sell a vehicle for 5000cr on a live server, you're barely making a profit. Doing so is practically fool hearty. Morons that sold large houses for 20k were the people that destroyed the Architech market. People need to realize that if you go too low, then you're just hurting yourself.

The problem is that they will quickly become a commodity. They won't be worth much more than the resources harvested.
