Thread: Pub 10 and Harvester Problems

Has anyone had any problems with their harvesters today? I checked mine last night and had 25k units of steel, and today when I checked today to retrieve, I had 10k steel, 10k copper, and 10k of gemstones!!
Is this just me, or has anyone else gotten whacked?

I had this happen last week with a Flora Farm. I never changed the resource being harvested. Never. Didn't even touch the change resource button after I initially selected some Domesticated Oats. Come back a few days later, and the harvestor was digging up some kind of Fruit. It only had like 560 of the Fruit, like it was very recently switched, though the only 2 on admin on the Flora Farm were me and my alt...and no one knows my account info. no one.
I changed the farm back to Oats, and thought it was very strange.
You're not the only one who's seen this.

its not jsut you, i ended up with 30k iron, 8k steel, 7k raidoactivfe, 34k carb ore, and 8k non ferous that i did not mine, and its all crap stuff. Also on top of that some of the stuff i had just shifted in and there was no way i could have that much of something that just shifted in, in one harvester.. lets hope its just today that it effects if not that will blow big time..

i pull... a lot. on a few servers. and i've i estimate a solid 60% of the harvs i'm opening (been away a few days now) have stuff that i didn't choose, much of which were things that just shifted in. Its silly. happening on multiple servers (naritus, farstar, bria and sunrunner that i've checked).

I have kept my harvs on a good spot of some great steal... I really hope they aren't messing up.

I managed to retrieve an empty minerals crate from the harvester after I accidentally marked the resource I just had changed to... Weird. Takes up one volume but has nothing in it its just a crate...
I didn't have the other problem though, yet.

I opened chem harvester hopper hit retrieve the 11k fiberplast turned into 0 had the icon for the correct fiberplast but but instead of 11k it had a 0 when I checked my inventory.
Also have my flora harvester with dom corn (what I had selected) and beans in hooper and I never selected beans.

Same here on Bria.
was harvesting DuralloySteel since the shift occured. Now I have 12k of steel, 66k of Zinsiam Ore and 13k or Robindun Siliclastic Ore. I don't harvest ore at all so I know it was not my mistake. My 1st had copper and aluminum instead of the ores and I didn't even think of it until I saw the ore in my 2nd harvestor....leaving that stuff in.
Update: my 3rd had all the steel in it 100k worth. I will track my results and post.

I had the same thing happen to me, with various random resources appearing in my hoppers, some quite new and in pretty hefty quantities. More than would seem possible considering the amount of time since I'd last checked my harvesters.
Beyond that, I haven't detected a pattern yet, and I just went through around 30 harvesters, my own and some I am admined on. I emptied out a few completely just to start with a blank slate, and will come back later today to see what things look like.

Interesting bug... it happened to me on Starsider too, and oddly enough it had about 4500 of the resource that I intended to mine, and about 5500 of a resource that I didn't intend to harvest, but that I was interested in. And it seems like the harvest rate and amount that was gathered for each resource indicates that it was pulling each of the resources at the same time. That was a nice little bonus.

This happened to me too, and I lost about 3 million units of ore that had been sitting in my harvys for a couple days, I went to check the hoppers to retrieve it and all I found in there was either random mineral resources or nothing at all.... This really sucks cause I needed that ore for my customers. This happened to approzimately 46 heavy mineral harvys deeded by different people all in the same area. Please get it fixed!
