I'm on Kettemoor server. Had heavy minerals which ended up with 3 to 4 random resources, usually the same amount of each. My heavy gas harvesters looked ok this morning. Haven't checked the chem harvesters yet.

We saw this 7-10 days ago on the Test Center and many folks /bugged it. It then appeared to go away, but *may* have been masked by the multiple server resets each day there. I noticed it again last night on the TC.
There was a theory that redeeding your havesters would "cure" this and I did that on the TC, but as I say it may be that the frequent resets masked the effects.
I would bug it and give planet, coordinates, and resource type (e.g., mineral).

One thing I'd like to ask is how many of the harvesters you're having problems with are statics? Every static I hit today had been randomized, while none of the mobile harvesters I have down seem to have been affected.

All the ones I had problems with were put down 7 days ago only. Of the 8 harvs, only 6 of them had presents.

That's really odd, every one of my mobile harvesters were operating fine, mineral or otherwise. It was the various statics I have strewn about that experienced randomization.

Yeah, most of mine were statics that had been there a while too.
Just got my ticket back, they said they can't reimburse resources because the problem cant be verified, but we are aware of the issue and the Dev team is working on it....

What is in the hoppers seems to be completely random on any given day. My field of 8 statics was mining one type of copper, and when I checked them before the patch was released they each had about 50k of copper in the hoppers.
After the patch, I checked them again, and even though they still give the appearance of mining the copper, they are randomly extracting either a different current resourceat the same extraction rate, or have converted some of the existing resources into an old just-out-of-spawn resource. Some hoppers have 2 resource types, others have either 3 or 4, but all totals add up to what should of been mined to date based on the extraction percentage.
I have even noticed that the resources in the hoppers tend to change at each server restart so that what was there yesterday, is different to what is there today.
Stopping, starting, removing resources from the hopper, etc all seem to have no effect at all.
To say that its an annoying bug is an understatement - especially as I am trying to mine some cd992 copper and end up with crap ore, crap steel or crap gemstones

This happened to me, too. When I checked the harvesters, they said they were harvesting 0% siliclastic ore, which means it shifted out. HOWEVER, they really contained some other resource. The interesting thing is, they contained the same amount of the random resource as the non-bugged harvesters pulled in of the ore I was expecting. It's almost like the publish 10 "transformed" the resources into a different mineral.
So far, I've found one harvester that was completely empty. I thought maybe I forgot to shut it off. HOWEVER, it had the exact same level of power in it as the harvester next to it, so I know for a fact that it harvested the resource to completion, and then the ore disappeared sometime during/after publish.
This really bites.

Static applies to harvesters that don't get picked up ever. They're planted, and there they stay whether it be through cross server lot trades or someone who planted them for you and then later quit playing the game (as is the case with most of mine).
Mobiles get picked up with every shift and moved along to some other new spot.

One of my mobiles had a split hopper, 3 were 'normal' (And they were all in the same spot on the same metal put there in about the same 3 minutes or so), and about 75 to 80% of my statics had split resources (most of which I was really happy with, since they were mining some of the crappiest amorphous gemstones I'd ever seen, only good for grinding

Well posh
I bugged this over a week ago on TC1 as one of my harvestors near NU did this. However, it did not happen to the harvestors I had on Rori over this lastweekend.
And yes Blizzard1 I did see that a shifted out material stayed on the display (the harvestor was stuck on as well), but I thought nothing of it. Perhaps the erronious material is caused by shifting. If you haven't noticed yet they made a change to the way Iron spawns across the galaxy; this could be a side effect of that change.
