In the bio engineer tree, it's not called "light food bio component". There's different things that qualifies as light food bio component.

you get the skill to make "Light Bio Food Additives" at Dom Arts IV.

If I remember correctly it is water and the BE component mentioned above.

There are different components that you can turn into the "Light Bio Food Additive" of your choice, Flavor, Filling, Quantity, and can't remember the 4th one :-)

There are 3 levels of the four additives, light, medium, heavy. You need to go into Chef to use Medium or Heavy.

Ok, question is...what is it and how do I get/craft it? I've been gone for over a month and WAM there's new stuff for artisan. some kind of cool but it leaves me clueless.

If you have a micronutrient suppliment from a BE, you can make the light food component. There may be more than just that one, but I know for sure that at least works.

I just found this link. It shows the bio components for food. Looks like there are 4 of them.

There are four at each level (light, medium and heavy). Chefs are the only ones who can make the tissues into food additives at medium and heavy level. Foods have a rating as to what level of additive they can accept (any of the ones you can make as an MA only take light).
