Its a challenge! Who can make the highest energy resist bone armor?


No krayt or loot stuff permitted in its construction.


you may layer (or whatever you do to increase resists, im not familiar with all this).


The name of the game is ENERGY resists.

With advanced bone armor segments and some very good hide & bone I've hit 32%

Advanced bone segments are armorsmith components.

Don't need advanced bone armor segments - just 6% voritor hide segments off the bazaar for dirt cheap (i usually find them for a few 100 credits) and you'll get 32-35% Energy protection with 6% kinetic protection, combined with about 12-15% or so on the restraint and electricity resistances (depending on the quality of your materials)

Ah, I just saw the thing about nothing looted. Sorry about that. If that's the case, then yeah, you'll need adv. bone segments.


I find it's a TON easier to just buy the voritor segments off the bazaar.

I know you said no loot, but I've got a full set made from advanced segments and krayt scales. The energy resists vary from 40% on the minor pieces up to 57% on the chest. All the pieces are sliced for encumbrance, too, so the total HAM hit is only around 100 or soper secondary HAM stat.

yup, what animi said. Easy to get over 20% energy with simple segments - 11 experimentation points after all. With Voritor, Kimoglia or Krayt scales introduced into the segments - can easily break into the high 30s with good materials. Usually keep a set or two of Voritor stocked in my shop and the pieces always get snapped up like hot cakes on the bazaar. Hey, happy holidays! Have fun!

With regular bone armour segmentsI make 34% bone armour


Best i've make so far with voritor scales was 37%


I bought some amazing Kimo segments a few weeks ago that I expect will combine to over 40% onceI get around to it
