50% energy on bone? wow. you got a pic?

I issued this challenge because i wanted to see if this armor could be useful for something like the GCW where energy weapons are rather common... a sort of armor for not-so-rich players who still wanted to participate.

And imo, it does look better than the ubese and the ballerina-like mabari

with voritor hide segments i had no problem getting 25% energy and 6-10% kinetic with 16% to restraint and electricity.

i find it ironic that everyone says that bone is useless......good bone is better than crappy composite...believe me, i've tested (rubs lump on noggin).

Saved my life from that stray blaster bolt it did....unfortunately that direct hit from an LLC wasn't fazed in the least...*weak laugh*

*tries to pat down permanently standing hair*

Put together a Helmet with 33% resists today...

The bone was 600 OQ and 450 SR, but the hide was 950+ for both, and the metal was ~825 for both. The armor segment itself was 7% energy, so I'm wondering how much higher people have gotten those.

If I could find some better bone to go in... /ponder

Woohoo, topped just about everyone I think.

Just put together an entire suit, nothing below 32%, and the best... the chest piece at 37% / 13%

Both the segments and the chest plate were 92% experimentation.

The bone armour I made for myself is perfect for PVE as it give me light armour rating which effectively cuts almost all damageI receivein half and I have experimented the HAM cost down to almost nothing so its a win win situation
