I like your idea just make sure to keep a combat profession,go overt and sit at a place that alot of tef'd players that do faction missions come into and take out their bikes as they roll in and when you kill them and they come outta the cloner give them a sales pitch like a macro or something like this.

(Hey just lost your bike well your in luck i happen to have some on me forsale)set your price and add it in

I need money.. I spend cash much faster than I make it, so ive decided to make my alt a artisan.

I plan on just popping out tons of swoops. Mainly because its not too specific with resources and for the most part

people dont worry about effectiveness, they just want a ride.

What ya guys think . Can I make a lot of money just by crafting nothing buy swoops.

Also if you could tell me what resources they require so I can start harvesting now. Thanks

Swoops are not selling as well as they did. They used to sell qite well, i made 90%+ swoops and speeders for some time and sold them at 30k for speeders and 40-50k for swoops. They actualy sold quite fast at that price for some time, people simply had alot of disposible cash and needed replacement bikes often.

For the most part i had them priced that high because they sold too fast if i priced them lower, and i didn't have the resource gathering ability to supply good steel and alum that fast.

Now if you plan to just use any crap steel you can get your hands on you can probably stock them faster and keep up selling them in the sub 20k range. I didn't want to sell an inferior product myself so i refused to market anything under 90%.

In the end i made about 13 million lifetime total as a speeder dealer, which isn't much compared to what other crafters make.

A month ago you could have made some seriousmoney by selling swoops, but ever since JTL hit there's been a sharp drop-off in all vehicle sales. I used to sell about 10 swoops a day, but ever since JTL hit I'm lucky if I sell that many in a week. It makes it much easier to keep the vendors stocked, but the resources are starting to pile up around my shop and soon I'm either going to have to start crafting just to remove resources or setup a resource vendor to alleviate my storage bins.

There's still good money to be made selling vehicles, but I doubt you'll find this to be a truly get rich quick scheme. More like a get somewhat wealthy over the period of several months type plan.

Good luck!

I don't think swoops will make you a great deal of money, but who knows.

Anyway, 1 swoop requires:
6400 Ferrous Metal
1600 Non-Ferrous Metal

8000 resources... 1 heavy on a decent spot will pull ~15k/day. So if you think thats an easy way to make money.. have fun.

well depending on his server some reaources could be crappy and 1CPU and cost him 8k for 1 swoop,so he could charge 20k each and make a 12k profit per swoop and over time that isnt too bad

yes but, how many swoops do you buy a day? a week? a month?

it doesn't matter if the resources are free if you can't actually sell any volume.

btw: don't let my comments discourage you. Just trying to make you aware. If you can figure out how to do it, then maybe you will find a nice way to make some money.

You will make an okay amount of money doing this. To make the big money I would suggest doing an elite crafting thing like chef, armorsmith, architect or something like that. Chefs make a decent amount of money just from the amount they can sell crates of food and drinks for. If you didnt want to deal with the quality aspect you should try architect and make houses, and other structures where quality doesnt matter.

I am not sure what profession makes the most money but it is probably chef or armorsmith since they can sell there stuff for so much and its in high demand but others can correct me if I am wrong and if you have the best on the server you are bound to make tons as soons as people find out about you and you are well stocked.

swoops are good money makers, but wouldn't really be a get rich "quick" scheme per se. like a previous poster said, radioactives are the way to go for easy lazy money. quality doesn't matter, though you could charge more than 1cpu for specific classes with high stats. even if you keep your alt planted on one planet and just harvest from there, it's still pure profit. for 100k(10k per harvester, running 10) you pull in 250-500k depending on the concentration.

Follow me and meet our high priestess, yeah-ee-yeah

Come, come into my coven, yeah-ee-yeah
And become Lucifer's child

Undress 'til you're naked
And put on this white coat
Take this white cross and go to the center of the ring, yeah-ee-yeah

Come, come into my coven, yeah-ee-yeah
And become Lucifer's child
