Well the Devs answered it in the chat. You can only get the speeder if you buy the new boxed set coming out later next month and they will be tradeable.
So basically, you can get one if your a new player, if you are going to buy a second account, you waste the fifty bucks to get a new account and box set just long enough to trade it over to your main, if you have the millions of dollars to buy one on auction, or you scam some newb.
Hope its not like the current bikes because I can see some serious grief coming if an idiot decides to fly it into PVP or even accidently into Night Sister Lair. Either that, or its going to be a non decay bike that will be around forever.... If it is the case of it being non decay, then it will be worth the millions on auction maybe even the fifty bucks for a new account.
Which also brings to mind the exploit of buying new accounts just to sell the bikes. A legal way to make millions of credits in the game without breaking the EULA by buying the millions from players with actual cash.

Well, I guess this works out then. I will just wait for the pack to be on the market a while and then buy it after it is discounted. Watch those ads!

So what? If you don't get the Pre-Order of the Digital Download, you can't get the BARC Speeder? I find that kinda hard to believe especially since the pre-order of JTL included the Flash Speeder. Why would they do it completely opposite this time?

They way its going to work... and as has been confirmed by Tiggs.
Digital Download RotW (pre order) = No BARC Speeder
Buying the fullpackage(SGW,JTL,RotW pack) = BARC Speeder
So unless you want to start a new account, you won't be getting a BARC speeder... although they will be tradeable so you will probably be seeing a lot of them on the Trade Forums.

What in the hell is wrong with the devs lately.
for the first couple months of this year they put out some good patches.

Hmmm looks like new players can make loads of cash .........start the bidding at 10mil for a barc speeder lol
Devs are really Brainless............mind saying that the flash speeder was utter crap tho........but its still unfair to all other players
but thats what the Devs are hear for to make people resent new players and the likes

Well, if it's anything like the flash speeder, you can keep it, lol. I'm not getting another account just for a speeder. Now, if they make it uber I will be mad. Can't they think of any other gimmicks to get people to buy new accounts? I would think ROTW would be enough to get people to buy the game. Everyone not already standing in line at the theaters (and I hear some already are) for the premier of ep3 is going to want to see Kashyyk.
Now, if they want to grant me another ADK, I would be a little more understanding.

I checked on electronicsboutique.com and they're listing the three-pack at $29.99. So essentially the difference between the digital download and the retail version is $5 and three weeks. That's not quite as bad as I was anticipating.

Where do you get that you need to start a new account?
If it's anything like JTL beta, you just register the CD number on your accounts page and whammo, new flash speeder.
