If you can get your buffs over 3 hours, I think everyone involved will be happy. Customers like to hear the magical 3 hour duration.
As for power, 825 is alsoanicebreak point. Hitting 850 is pretty good.

I'd choose the 1st one, only because I favor duration over power, especially when the buffs are anything over 2000

Use this buff calculator and you can decide which is good

Soac,
Check swgcreatures.com.
Also, check with your customer - he may have more specific requests, like a planet.

Nabooian Avian meat, which is currently going for 130-150 cpu on my server, is completely different than Corellian Avian Meat. That stats are not the same.

Each planet gives a different type of meat with different stats, even though 2 planets might have the same creature. Like Dalydrakes on Corellia and Talus. One drops corellian insect meat with x stats, the other drops Talusian insect meat with y stats.

Just so you know, most often its not us Scouts and Rangers that set the prices. We are usually approached by a Doctor, Armorsmith, Chef, Bio Engineer, etc with an order and rate.
If the clients are not willing to pay those prices, they should ask our rates first and not supply us with their offer right off the bat.
I have never had to turn down an order because I thought that a prospective clients offer was too low. They want to bid high right out of the gate, thats fine by me.

Ailelli, you are completely correct. Check the Shadowfire Trade Forums and you will see Docs offering 150 cpu. They don't ask how much we sell it for, they come up with a price so they can get it over other docs.

Ahh, no, thats not how it works.
Heres how it works.
1.)Hey i hear this resource is pretty hot, i think ill go harvest a bunch.
2.) Return from hunting trip and see someone spamming at the starport."BUYING AVIAN MEAT(MOGAKI), PAYING 200CPU!"
What do you think im gonna do? Thats right, sell my harvest. I had nothing to do with the pricing.
Ya, thats right, DOCS SET THEIR OWN PRICES.
But whats more, a doc's enemy on the harvest market, is... *drum roll*, OTHER DOCS!
Heres how this works.
1.) "hey, can you harvest some meat for me, paying 75 CPU, need at least 9000."
uhh.. ok.
2.) Come back from hunting trip with harvest, and see a guy spamming, "BUYING AVIAN MEAT, PAYING 110 CPU!"
So about this time im thinking.. "hmmm, took me a long time to havest my stack. Let me think now, do i want 690K, or do i want a little over a cool million in credits?
I dont harvest for my health, its not very fun anymore, What do you think i'm gonna do? Money talks...
So.. if anyone wants to point fingers at doc prices.. docs should point that finger at themselves, espeically the ones who buy competitively. Harvesters didnt have a thing to do with it.

Ditto, i have never turned down an initial offer. But if someones buying out compedtively, thats where my harvest will end up if i find the market value is alot higher than what the initial offer was paying. Docs know the prices better than we do, and some will try and take advantage of that.
