Currently... yes, you can drop the skills (even artisan), and still keep the vendor. Be advised that there is talk that this will change at some point, but I doubt it will happen any time soon, if at all

Hi all.
I placed a robot vendor in my house and placed 50 items on it. Then, when I could place a random npc vendor, I did that. However when I placed her, her inventory showed all of the robots inventory. So now I have two vendors showing all the same stuff.
I want to get rid of the robot. If I delete the robot, will I lose all my stuff? Do I need to remove it all, sinceI see it all on the npc vendor, maybe I dont? OK hope this makes sence. Many thanks in advance.

The items in fact aren't available on both vendors. If you look, you'll see a button to switch from filtering items be region, or by vendor. As the owner of the vendors, you can see all of the items on all your vendors in the same region. Customers only see what's on the actual vendor. If you delete the robo vendor without taking all the items off, you'll lose the items.

I've read through all the stickied posts on vendors, but didn't see anything on this.
My vendors have rotated 180 degrees. Now they face the wall. Kinda sux. I really don't want to pull the 100+ items off them to destroy that vendor and drop a new one that actually might face my customers.
Any ideas?

Do you have barking enabled? Sometimes they will bark at poeple outside and consequently turn to face em. If so, get em to bark at someone in the direction you want and then disable it ![]()

That is correct, you will not be able to do anything other than stock and take offers, moving will not be an option, nor naming or anything...

You will keep and you will be able to place items on it, however, this has become a fairly hot topic, and my disapear in the future, it is considered an exploit.

I could see that.
It could also be argued that you would then lose the ability to move your store, adapt, etc.

I think I know the answer, but bear with me for a second.
I have a Bulky Vendor, and I just got Hiring 1 which allows me to pick which NPC I want for my vendor. My question is, Is there a way to get all of the items off of the Bulky Vendor and place them on the NPC, or would I have to withdraw the sale and physically take it and sell it on the NPC?
