Spinner blades are easy.
Ignore the missions, accept failure.
Take 2 missions, kill all spawns in one, run to the number 2 missions, kill all spawns. Head back to the first mission, kill all spawns. They will respawn but you need to leave the immediate area. Flip flop back and forth, by the time both missions come up mission incomplete, you should have a spinner blade. It's no trouble to get 6-12 in 3 hrs.
I do a minimum of 2 hidden dagger camps a day, most days I do at least 6, somedays as many as 30, I have only found 3 spinner blades to date. I have been doing this since about March 20.
Why in the world would they make something that a straight crafter would have a hard time getting, but combat character would find boring to kill. (at least before the level 65 activists you sometimes get now). THEN put it on something uncampable so you have to get a mission, THEN make it manual loot only so you have one more barrier to procuring. THEN as if all the other crap isnt bad enough give it a loot rate chance of like 1:1000 NPCs.
I would rather waste a day killing chunkers for 3 hours than drive to a mission kill 3 people (only 1 or2 of which may even have it in the first place), drive another 500m do the same thing over and over until you need new missions when you have to start fresh, then rinse lather repeat for 2 months. With the loot rates being bad enough too its nigh impossible to find a noncrafter willing to hunt Hidden Daggers until they find them too, especially since no one would want to pay what its worth (as far as rareness) since the quality of the recycled goods is so bad.
try taking the recyler and putting it in a backpack then taking it out and putting it back into your main inventory....I dont know why but that seems to work to allow you to change types again, also failing that put it down in your house then pick it up that too will allow you to change its subtype.
