Q: At the bazaar I can see someone selling a kind of steel, that I would very much like to find myself, called Idopa (high UT). However I can't survey for it, as it is not in the tree on my surveying device. Is this because of the planet I'm on - or has it got anything to do with my lvl of certain skills?

It's possible the resource in question got rotated off the surveyables (is that a word?), so finding it on your own tool will be impossible.

I happen to believe that a thing is worth what someone will pay for it. However, I would love to know how many of you figure out what to charge for a given item. For instance, I use a base 3.5 cpu for items. I figure if I bought the materials on the bazaar, then my time and skills are worth .5 cpu. However, that can get a bit expensive for some items (seems no one wants to buy 15,750c Landspeeders). So I either don't make them (like landspeeders) except on consignment, or charge anyway and have people annoyed because they "could have gotten it cheaper elsewhere."

is there anyway to get more than 20-35 surveying xp every 30seconds? cause right now that is the best i can do and i am 4-4-4-2 artisan with 12.5k surveying xp to go

im workin on engineering II and domestic arts II. it says i need general crafting XP, so i assume it means making anything. ive made tons of stuff, but it wont give me any general crafting xp. whats goin on?

I am guessing here would be a good place to post it. I wanted to know what skill attachments Astisan has and if they work. just from reading a bit I saw already there is the Artisan Experimentation and Assembly also Surveying. I see that the Exp. tapes work and the surveying doesnt help with the distance but maybe with harvesting the resources. Can someone tell me if I am missing an attachment or if these are them and that is how they work?
