Yes, if you have maintenance fully paid. The amount drops significantly if the vendor condition is less than 100%.
Also, you don't get the XP unless the vendor is loaded into the world so if you have any of them in an out of the way place, visit them periodically and they'll give you all the XP they've missed while they were "offline" all at once.

Hi all...I'm a current mayor. Besides entering the election and getting votes, is there anything else I can do to get xp? I heard I could register for other elections and get xp, but haven't tried it.

Oh! Also we are expecting a Purge of inactive characters and also of people with mulitple residences. When that happens people with multiple residences will probably lose -all- their residences and then chose which =one= they want.
If a -mayor- looses all their residences... their city will probably vanish, never to return.
Again... let us know. 
Oh, and will we have warning when the Purge will happen? Not very likely. Probably we will find out -after- it happens, just like everything else. So... if you take another residence, you are risking your city.

Nope, nothing else.
You can only register for an election in the city that you have your declared residency.
You're supposed to only be able to declare in one city at a time.

it wont let you run for mayor in another city i would assume as when i tried placing down a city hall on a different planet to my city i got a message saying that i cannot run another city until i resign my from being mayor on my other one

We would see this happen on Test Center before it would go live.

I just started on the FS village quests. It is saying when I kill things that I gain Med XP (I am working on 4000 for Combat Medic), however, when I look at the Skill trees, it seems that the xp I gain is being subtracted from my total. (ex: I had 39k xp, I kill a guy, it said I gain 3k med xp, I look at the skill tree again and it says I have 36k xp) Can someone please help me and tell me why this is happening?
