I'd love to play my role. Kinda hard when being a SL is pointless due to the fact that no one groups for anything other than solo-grouping.
I also tend to perfer to grind out my template to match my character concept and then get on to roleplaying. Can't call myself a (whatever) if my sheet doesn't match it.

Make some more friends. Even better, get to know some noobs and help them out, they won't be noobs forever and you'l have a good number of people later that you can use your skills with, because you're going to need groups later when you get to master. It's what I used to do on Diablo 2, help out people when they're just starting out, and since I play for fun they would easily pass me up in money and gear. Yet they still remember who was there for them when they all they had was a starter dagger, you're name will get around that way and you should always have atleast a few people to group with.
Although in the CU, unless they change the xp, the only way that will help you is haveing people to protect you while you're grinding out with a pea shooter pistol.

I am in search of some answers for many crafters out there not just the smiths, but i am posting this here asa veteran player still in game, as well as a WS for over a year now. I have had may people in game as me about a couple of thing, mostly these seem to be neewer players still working through the crafting trees.
1) double xp week, does this include crafting too?
2) XP doesnt seem to be working correctly for many crafters out there, dont know if everyone is having this or not but have been asked by a few people about it, was just wondering, me WS over a year xp not really a problem here, lol
Really as a vet I like to help the newer players out at least if i am able to, I mean really with the changes we have all just went through, we need to help the crafters out some, we all took a hit with the cu, but can get through it.
This has been sent in as a bug as well, by some of these other guys, anyway any info anyone has would be nice.
thanks ,

Iam having problems with getting WS xp from novice. It seems some weaps i grind on are in the "weapon" category, and others are in the "weapons" category. Why is that?

I stripped down my non-jedi skills so now I am about CL21. Fighting CL22 Humbuba's I get 508 Jedi Experience.
My Alt who is CL20 gets 2k+ for the same Humbuba's.
Why is there such a difference in payout? I would expect some difference due to different CL's, but only about 10%.

I don't know if the correspondent will answer this or not. I am a Rebel Pilot who is 2211. I have noticed that Normal Tier 2 Tie Fighters are work 440 XP, but the Tie Interceptors, which are twice as difficult to take out are only work 360. Why the differance?

Because the xp awards are slanted from heavy ships to light ones. In all honesty it should be handled on a case by case basis, depending on how easy hard the AI is for a given ship. Right now awards for rebel ships feel totally backwards, and imperial has a few backward spots. However Imp awards are much better aligned since very difficult NPCs like Aggressors and Oppressors are worth the most.

This is something I should know by now, but while grinding does the quality of the item mean anything to xp.
If I use up a bunch of old resources I have that are low quality to craft a weapon that I am just going to do in practice mode for the xp will it give me less xp, than if I used high quality?
Thanks,

for XP, no quality doesn't matter.
for $$, yes quality does matter.
