Bring back the mining profession!! Make inter-profession dependence matter or make this a solo game.

Name 1 other novice profession that other prof already depend on.

Hell, ok for inter-porf dependences, but at least start with elite prof, and not with the only one that already have the most.

Novice Image Designer to migrate stats.

Ok it's not a novice profession, but you only need novice entertainer and the ID line of that to get novice Image Designer

Also, droid engineers and architects rely on master artisans to make certain components to use in their crafting. Also, Artisans make tools and repair kits, and really good ones if they have the resources.

About the end of the firstweek of my new artisan i found some copper with 975 conductivity. I dropped a personal on it at first, then another, then a third. I made 14.25 crafting tools and 97.52 repair tools which i sold (and still do make and sell ) on the bazaar in coronet for 3k each. I saved up and then got two medium harvestors which i also had on a good concentration of it for a few days. I ended up having over 160k of it when the spawn ended, and still have over 145k of it left which i still use to make high quality tools that people rely on to use. I was making these things when i was only 4303 artisan too

Better keep the argument elsewhere.
No prof rely on the need to change stat.
My point was that Artisan already have what they want : other prof depend on them.
They don't see it because people going those prof, are also MA.

As for your copper, don't waste it on tools, tools don't require that much to max out.

I'm Master Artisan and Master DE, and most of my income come from droid batteries...

ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY, NOT

In fact, this really ranks up there with the stupidest ideas of all time.

THINK about what this would do to the resource market. And, in turn, what it would do to the cost of ALL goods.

Unless you really WANT to pay 50cpu+ for low-quality resources and 10x that for high.

Guruweaver,

This is a rather late post that not everyone will see before you decide whether to make it one of the artisan issues.

And anyone can write here that they are a master artisan. Unless I"m wrong, you as a correspondant have no way of verifying whether they are or not.

Does something have to be an issue for a majority of the community to be one of the top 5 artisan issues? Or if it's the biggest issue for a significant minority does that not also make it in the top 5? I submit to you that the latter is the reasonable approach and that it should be an issue even if the majority of self-professed artisans doesn't think it should be.

I see the possibility that the ebayers and cross server lot traders have noticed this thread and told each other to go vote no. Do you see that possibility? Also, folks with just one master artisan alt they don't play very much aren't really as concerned about the profession as they are about the overall abilities of their combat character.

I appreciate that you want a sense of the community's sentiment, but I don't know if you're accomplishing what you intend with this sort of last-minute poll.
