I'd just like to add that I'm a cheapskate and while I do make good money at tailoring, I'm not paying 10c per hide to anyone. Particularly when I bought 8k hide last night for 17k credits. It's not wooly, but I'm using it to grind cloaks anyway, so I don't care, I just save what wooly I find for the things that need it.

I thought you needed the survey skill to be able to find resources?


And for that you need to be artisan right?

If you place a harvestor you can tell when resources shift even if you don't have novice artisan.

Oh, and while I'm griping over no edit button...
OQ takes higher precedence over PE... about 2x more... meds are 66% OQ, 33% PE [or UT, depends on the item].

Definately Herbivore and Avian Meat for us Doctors. Right now i'm paying out 5 creds a unit for decent stuff. Like the 900+ OQ Tatooine Hearbivore Meat right now on Bria. More Avian than Herbivore though

Are you totally sure about this? From my own tests (not all that extensive) I've noticed that PE seems to correlate with the buff itself, and OQ with the number of uses. Flavor has no noticeable effect.

As far as harvested resources go, insect meat seems to be the only thing a master chef would need (for vercupti).

I have my scouts also getting me Wild Meat for recipies that just call for meat....and leathery hide for just Hide recipies. That way I don't waste the specific meats I need for specific recipies.

For Master Chef's, Insect Meat, and large amounts, are required for Vercupti

I go through up to 10k a day when I'm doing my Vercupti runs

However, scouts & rangers keep telling me they wont collect meat, because Armoursmiths will pay 10cr a unit, whereas chefs only par 3-5cr :/ - I then point out that if they want to pay 20cr per unit used in my foods, then fine

I seem to find PE important for the strength of the buff, OQ for stack size and Flavor not doing much of anything.


As for decay...I got no ideas..but I been using Decay 9 fruit for my Fishaks, and I have got them up to +554 mind with zero action penalty. If the Decay is hurting something I cant tell what yet.
