Thread: Mission terminals
I've been hearing reports about mission level issues on Tatooine, but I don't remember any on Naboo until now. I'll see what I can find out. It's a bit crazy right now, but I'll get it as soon as I can. Maybe I can get it answered in the Player City forum here at Fan Fest.
Question to everyone, then, in the meantime: Where are you noticing issues in getting appropriate mission levels? Planet, NPC city, Player City, and waypoint/server if you can so I can start some digging if this isn't something intended.
I'm going to try and pin someone down either tonight or tomorrow to see if this kind of variation is intended (I doubt it). In the meantime, I'm going to temporarily sticky this thread so we can get as much information as we can. It may be that they know what's wrong, but just in case we'll be a jump ahead on getting them information which might help.

Players are limited to level 50 no matter group sizing and levels. Other player cities on the planet 10k away can get level 80 and above. We have 62 residents. I have moved the terminals 3 times. I have changed the city to improved, to research, no change. Max level is 50. Please fix thanks.

Reason being a mission of level 80 aggro mobs spawning 1K from a city 1K from an NPC centre of population will splatter any noobs in the area. Our city is about 2.5k east of Moenia on Naboo, and can only get missions up to level 50.
However, in Moenia itself, you can get level 80 missions. Which allows you to spawn level 80 critters a LOT closer to Moenia than our city would.
It sounds like maybe this was their intention, but then maybe they forgot to apply the same limit to the mission terminals within NPC cities themself?

My understanding is noob cities should be capped at CL15 for their missions ( this is definatly true on tatoine ) - sounds like either naboo or Moenia slipped through the net.

That makes no sence from what I've seen. We can pull CL 50's at max in Alacio. The nearest NPC city is just over 4k away (Keren for reference) but I can pull CL 50 off of Mos Eisley as well.

We are about 1500m outside of Mos Espa. There is another city about the same distance from Espa that our citizens can pull lvl 80 from. Except for the occasional Krayt that wanders in, the spawn around them is just like ours. They are a rank 5 and we are a rank 3 so city size is a possible reason.
