No i understand jedi having every power they have except healing. I don't remember Obi Wan sitting in a starport healing people as they walked past.

What in any of the movies makes you in any way think that jedi have healing powers.

actually it would be cool to see more diversity in other profs, like master weaponsmith with some sort of specialization like master heavy weapons construction. Do you know what I mean? It would make the game way more diverse. Even Master BH with a specialzation in Master Dirty Tactis would be cool. I think it would make for more diverse toons and more interesting combat even in non jedi combat.
Hell Master dancer with specialzation in pole dancing sounds cool lol
Think about it though. Maybe they could make it a master box that unlocks with a prereq master box and the skills are free like pilot skills. I'm not yelling uber me or anything I'm just saying it would allow other profs to be more diverse. I have to adjust my combat style for almost every jedi i face cuz there are so many diffrerent jedi temps but soon all jedi will know how to handle master bh/master rifle/combat medic 4000. The jedi would have to adapt to and that would be cool. Just think about the diversity of people it would make, it would be fun

This is a game that is inspired from the Star Wars universe. As any other MMOs, it's an autonomous, self-evolving system that cannot follow any "virtual" timeline. Timelines are for single-player RPGs which follow a pre-determined script and cannot exist in a multi-player environment like SWG. With that said, jedi require healing because they're not nearly as powerful as they are depicted in the movies, or, more simply put, because it's a game. It's not only jedi you didn't see healing in the movies, there was no healing at all, just 1-shot blasterkills and flying limbs from lightsabers swinging. Can you imagine how the game would be like that ?

THANK YOU
That is all i am saying. why can't other proffessions have some diversity. Instead of having 2 proffessions.

RebMBH wrote:that there are 5 different jedi proffessions and every other proffession has just one? Also it seems to me that jedi can train in whatever they want and still be combat level 80?
There are 5 Jedi professions, there are 4 FS professions, and there are 30+ regular professions.
You cannot compare "5 Jedi professions" to "Weaponsmith", for example. You either compare "Force Defense" to "Teras Kasi Artist", or you compare "30+ regular professions" to "5 Jedi professions".
Also, Jedi cant train in whatever they want. Jedi need to have some tier 4 boxes to be level 80, just like regular professions.
What is different, though, is that every Jedi box contributes more to CL than a regular profession box. Justification for this is as follows:
- Regular profession branch is 14 SP, Elite Mastery is 63 SP, Starter Profession Mastery is 77 SP.
- Regular professions can spend 250 SP in CL-raising boxes
- Jedi profession branch is 20 SP, Mastery is 89 SP
- Jedi have 226 SP to spend on CL-raising boxes since FS skills to not raise CL
=> It follows regular professions can take far more boxes to raise there CL than Jedi can, so Jedi get more CL per box.
