Surveying isnt cut out what is used to be. the biggest chewers of resoruces in game being Ore and Steel is very hard to get good % rates. first of all jsut to find a good % takes hours to settle with if lucky a good flat zone for 60 or so % ,but most of the time to get in the 30's and 40's. whats up with that.. Surveying jumps you thousands of miles to finally end up at that low %???? on top of it increasing aggors ways back prior to CU then CU deceasing sp's for added trees for combat proff's had to release some elite combat to survive, not wantning to sacrifice MA, SW , and merchant(close to master) the one hit knock outs being lvl 21 ouch bites.. there is no way of having a army of ppl with you to stop them from shooting you off your vehicle or a army of surveyors and very frustrating to put tons of deeds in a place to harvest enough of goods for architect and shipwright. especially heavies can hold 100k+ in them and only the resrouces last from 4 to 5 days maybe less sometimes!


what ever happened to 70-90%'s for theses resources? or harvesting 20-25k in each harvestor a day? why not cut down fields of harvestors around (or even condemned ones) by increasing the loads we can get that can take 200-500k or resrouces chewed up in one day selling of crafted items? each harvestor to collect there hopper full in one day or two at least. or take away the very frustrating survey times down taking hours upon hours just for say steel only or ore. sometimes takes all day just to find a decent spot and decent rare 60-70% spot to be satisfied with(very rare for those kinds). And if everyone wants that uber resrouces it has a packed place already cause there isnt enough good spawn %'s.


I know as much shipwright,Architect takes (and Master Aritsan for vehicles) takes alot of goods, especially being a high traffic shop. but I think cutting down more on combat patches, more for us crafters,surveyors,merchants cut some slack! hence we are a backbone for there needs! and loads of downfall in lots of places from even prior to CU.(or even cut down non-combat sp's requirements to get more combat lvl protection in our toons)



Who wants to play the hours on end game of surveying when it only lasts 3 to 5 days , and low %'s.


Hating survey days, harvestor placing, dont tell me to buy it cause sometimes have to even with 30+ harvies to take care of, then whats the point of master aritsan with surveying? when boom you can have a 70-90% in no time for fiberplast or petrochem, but ore and steel give me a break, 2000m or so you find 30-40's bites.

I thought bugs were like functions that don't work the way they were designed to work. Most of the stuff in this threat are suggested modifications of existing 'game intended' functions and a lot of isn't even Artisan related, even the powerups ( many of which are useless) are intended towork that way. There are no Major bugs in the Artisan profession.

I totally agree! Even that fact being just ONE Master Combat Elite you cant do much in the galaxy anymore,especially TKA, hence even that fact being a master Artisan, or any other masternon combat proff you couldnt get past your first Old man visit with lvl 70's siths on you, or do much in unlocking trees being one master elite even! Where is that required to have two master badges,but takes only one to unlock fs w/other required badges? matter of fact also if you were a master BH lvl 60 something fight jedi rofl you have to be a dobule elite theses days for a lvl 80(but lvl 55 being one master combat, two should equal combat lvl 110)


I think crafters/merchants/entertainers/other non combats profs orelite non combat prof should certify for lvls in droidsup to lvl 80like with how lvl increases for combat proff's, but not to mention oneshot incap's by a lvl 50 spineflap or 30 soemthing that fact mauler or something while surveying or going to a harvestor? and to top it off you can't get higher than lvl 15 missions on Tatooine or naboo? where is the fambaa's,bol's, orsquill missions or high lvl bantha's from mission terminals? Especially there out there in wild? and if you need Dathmorian leathery hide or resourceyour screwed, not to mention endorian hides. even iwth grouping with lvl 80's no suffice for low lvl combat proff(even one elite) or non combat proff's.


SWG used to allow chances,luck or the odds used to be in place b4 CU , now its all about lvl's there is no roulette wheel in the game for combat


Where is the purpose of factioning for one master combatprof or non combat prof's withhigh lvl npc's at major cities?
